Come and stay at our beautiful cottage set amongst the orchard and surrounded by spotted gum forest overlooking Tomaga River.
You are just a short drive to the beaches of Tomakin, Mossy Point & Broulee, Mogo Zoo and the artisan village of Mogo, whilst feeling miles away.
The space
The Cottage is situated on our beautiful property "Tommaghan Rest". For more photos and information search for TommaghanRest.
Enjoy access to the river from The Landing, a short stroll away, where you can fish, look for birds or watch the river ebbing by. Or simply relax at The Cottage with a cup of tea in hand.
It’s the perfect place to unwind.
The Cottage is set on 10 hectares and is part of a rural property, called Tommaghan Rest. Part of the appeal is the country setting with the Cottage located at the end of a long unsealed driveway.
What you will love about our quaint cottage:

* Direct access to the Tomaga River

* 7-minute drive to the famous beaches of Tomakin, Mossy Point & Broulee
* Perfect base for bushwalking and mountain biking (only 1 km to the Mogo Trails and 10 km to Maulbrooks Rd)
You will have access to the entire cottage. You will find:
* Comfy queen bed for a good nights rest
* Sofa Bed in the living room if you bring the kids
* Bathroom with luxe toiletries
* Fresh linen & towels provided
* Full kitchen including oven, stove & microwave
* TV for cozy evenings in
* Amazing terrace
* Deck overlooking the river with BBQ
* Easy parking
Other things to note
2 children are also welcome to sleep on the queensized sofa bed in the living room.
Noise Policy: Whilst you are on a rural property, it is a quiet area and we do have neighbours (albeit 100s of metres away) so we ask you to be respectful and considerate.
Age Limit: We do not accept reservations for groups with travellers under the age of 23 years unless a specific exception has been approved. The home is perfect for mature travellers and families.
Other home on property: The Cottage is one of two homes that lies on our 10 hectare property, Tommaghan Rest. You will have access to the entire cottage, but not Ironbark House. The cottage is 50 m away from the main house and you will have privacy during your stay at The Cottage and cannot see the main house. However, it also means there may be other guests on the property during your stay.
River Access: To access the river, Cottage guests will use “The Landing” which is a short walk away. A detailed map can be found at the Cottage.
Septic System: Being a rural property, The Cottage is not connected to the sewer. We have an odour free composting toilet. Other than not needing to flush you will notice no difference.
Supplies: A complimentary welcome pack will be provided that includes several single use items to get you started including tea, coffee, sugar, milk, soap, dishwashing, toiletries and toilet paper supplies. For extended stays we ask you to remember to bring extra provisions.

The Cottage is one of two accommodation options at Tommghan Rest. As guests, you will have exclusive access to the grounds surrounding the Cottage, however there may be other guests on the 10ha property staying at Ironbark House, which is located about 100 m away from the house and cannot be directly seen from the Cottage.
