Great cabin with everything you could possibly need for your stay. We stayed as 2 families and had lots of space. Enjoyed the kayaks and canoe!

My family and I had a great vacation in candle lake. We came for a wedding but found a quiet gem in Susan’s home in candle lake. It was clean, quiet and well equipped. With the hosts going the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay. They provided us with a water mat for our kids to play on the dock with, along with life vests, paddle boards and other water sport equipment.I would stay here again in heartbeat.

Communication was great, the property had everything you could think of. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but if we would have been able to use the water, life jackets, paddle boards, and kayaks were provided with the property rental.

Alexander and friend were the perfect guests. Their communication was clear and proactive and it made my heart happy to hear and see their approval upon arrival at our lakeside cabin. The cabin was left in perfect condition and we would welcome Alexander back anytime.

Amazing relaxing stay, we enjoyed using the kayaks and paddleboards. Cabin was lovely, and had everything we needed. Susan was an excellent attentive host. I hope we can return!

This cabin was located on the most perfect waterfront lot on Candle lake. The cabin was well appointed and beautifully decorated. The owners were friendly and attentive. We have stay at many cabins over the years, at places all over North America, this is one of the best we have stayed at.

Wonderful Week at Candle Lake

We had alot of fun visiting with family at the lake. The house is in a great location, and on a nice quiet lake front area. House is well stocked and was perfect for us with small children.

Wonderful guests! Stormy weather with crazy winds would have discouraged most people but Chelsea and her family embraced the challenges and enjoyed their week with the great grandparents at the lake. Even helped up clean up some downed trees. Great guests!

Beautiful location

The cabin was everything we expected. Beautiful views over the lake with your own personal dock and access to water equipment. Very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Perfect for groups or larger families

Hope to return!

We had such a good stay at this cottage. The location was quiet and private and spacious. The house was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed being able to use kayaks and paddle boards, and everything we needed was available. Susan is a very welcoming and available host.

#1 for lake front locations

Beautifully decorated cabin with a wrap around deck to enjoy your morning coffee and meals. Great green space with huge fire pit for socializing. The host is a super host and very accommodating. This location will not disappoint.

A beautiful vacation. The cabin has everything you need. It is comfortable, spacious, and clean. The property is both very private and in a convenient location. We loved the kayaks, paddle boards and canoe. This was my family's first time at Candle Lake and we were very impressed. Susan and Ted were incredibly gracious and accommodating. We loved it!

Amazing location!

Amazing stay at the gorgeous waterfront property. Unbeatable views from the wrap around deck. Susan let us use paddle boards, canoe and life jackets. Our group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) had an amazing time and made some wonderful memories! I would recommend this place to anyone! Wonderful accommodating hosts!

Fantastic end of summer stay!

What a beautiful property! Susan provided us with everything we needed. She was an excellent host. The house has everything you need and you can travel light without a worry. The lake is so clean! Recomend for everyone that would like a quiet time in nature!

Even better than expected

The place is even nicer than we were expecting the pictures don’t even do it justice. The owners are very nice and are very accommodating. I would definitely recommend for anyone!!!

Lake country getaway

A beautiful lake-front property which was exceptionally well equipped! Roomy, well laid out and efficient. The hosts were wonderful! Nestled in the trees, yet close to marina, golf course and stores. A gem!

Marion and Donald and their grandson were stellar guests. They left the property in pristine condition and notified us in advance that their son and grandson were now able to spend part of the week with them. Do not hesitate to rent to this couple. Wonderful guests who we look forward to hosting again.

Family Summer Getaway

Susan was a wonderful host and was very accommodating from booking through hosting. The lakefront lot was great for our extended family's kids to play, and being able to use a water play mat and paddleboards made the retreat even better. Thank you so much for everything!

Lake front. Quiet neighbours. Dead end road. Beautiful cabin. Very clean. Lots of lake amenities. Super attentive - we needed an extension cord and Ted drove it over very quickly. Must stay.

Enjoyable time at the lake.

Our family had a lovely time. The hosts were responsive, attentive and friendly. The house was well stocked with everything you need and was comfortable for five of us. Canoes, kayaks and paddle boards made it easy to get out on the water and enjoy. Morning coffee on the deck watching the sun come up, was just what I needed. We would rebook again.

Great family/friend getaway!

With two bedrooms with queen/kind beds and a bunk room with beds for 4 more, this is a great spot for a couple families to stay together. The kitchen is really well stocked, and there are games, puzzles, and kids books and toys available too. The deck, dock and firepit are perfect, and there is a canoe, a kayak and paddleboards to use if you wish. And it was a short walk to the community beach, town, minigolf and ice cream. And the owners were very responsive and helpful. Loved it!

Winter Ice Fishing Trip

A beautiful home right on the lake that was incredibly well taken care of in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Had easy access to the lake and other fun winter activities such as cross country skiing and even curling! Night yields a bright and beautiful starry sky with incredible views of the Milky Way and occasionally aurora borealis. Whether you plan on fishing or relaxing indoors, this property is the perfect choice to spend a vacation! The owners were incredibly kind and hospitable as well!
