Located directly opposite a popular fishing spot on Lake Macquarie, this private room is perfect for a water-lovers getaway. If you're into fishing, boating, jet skiing or scuba diving, this is the place for you.

There is drive through access from Dobell Dr to Wangi Point Rd so you can use either entrance. Ample parking on the large block for a boat if needed.

One minute from Wangi shopping centre and boat ramp or a short walk to a secluded swimming spot. Wangi is small and friendly and boasts a post office, shops and wonderful eating places.

Only 10 min drive to larger centres - Morisset and Toronto or 45 min to Newcastle. Quiet and peaceful with stunning views over the lake. Beautiful bush walks at end of peninsula. You will love Wangi - everybody does!

Lovely stay by the lake

Perfect accommodation for a long weekend stay to explore the Lake Macquarie area. The studio was clean and comfortable and the locality was really scenic and peaceful to walk around. I would definitely recommend this home if wanting to visit Wangi Wangi.

Perfect stay

Wangi Wangi is a good area, private, by the lake awesome hosts. Great bed and linen for a peaceful sleep, well appointed, spotless presentation and great value. Perfect for one or a couple looking for private and quiet accomadation.

Perfect room for two

Perfect place for one or a couple. Just one office chair, which my husband sat on to watch TV, while I watched, sitting in bed. Toaster, electric frying pan, microwave, kettle and bar fridge…great for simple meals. A small table and 2 stools were a tight fit but worked fine.Great eat in or takeaway food options in Wangi just 5 minutes drive away. Beautifully presented. Happily recommend.

Lovely space and location

A fantastic escape for me. Everything was perfect with the accommodation .... Immaculately clean, big room with ensuite and kitchenette, close to shops and lake. I will definitely return and highly recommend to anyone. Big thanks to my hosts Michelle and James.

Very happy with size of room with bathroom. Everything in good order, easy walk along lake side. Bed a bit firmer than I am used to. Quiet area.

I really enjoyed my stay, it was such a quiet area. Easily accessible to Wangi Wangi shops, eateries and the Point. Nice accommodation for a solo or couple travellers.

Very comfortable

This was an ideal overnight stay for us. Bed was comfortable, hosts were discreet but also very available. The suite was spotless and had all the amenities for a comfortable, pleasant stay.

Michelle and James have retired in the Wangi area with magnificent views over Lake Macquarie. Michelle worked as a librarian and James worked as a nurse/paramedic/drug and alcohol counsellor before retirement. James loves working in the garden and Michelle loves playing Scrabble. Both are active in the community.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We love Wangi and the peace and tranquility of the area. Dobell Drive is not a through road so we get very little traffic and the bird songs are great. Wangi Bay is often filled with yachts, jet skis, kayaks etc and there is a shelf of rock down the bank opposite our place with steps leading down to it, that is a popular fishing spot.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The sunsets are spectacular. You don't have lake views from your room unfortunately but the lake is just across the road. There are bush walks at the end of Dobell Dr, within walking distance, or view the World War II bunkers up on the ridge overlooking the lake, again within walking distance of our house. We enjoy sharing our house although you have complete privacy with your own entrance to the room, ensuite and kitchenette.
