The open and spacious layout has plenty of room for your entire family to spread out and relax together. Both King Bedrooms and the twin bunkbed room have ensuite bathrooms. The fourth bedroom has a queen-sized bed. Each bedroom has a TV and includes crisp linens from our professional linen company. Your guests will stay connected with complimentary WIFI and enjoy all of the comforts of home, including a laundry room with full sized washer and dryer.

The sparkling heated pool is the focus of the private fenced backyard. With tropical landscaping, regal palm trees, pool loungers, and Adirondack chairs, your oasis awaits!

Enjoy your morning coffee on the screened lanai as the sun comes up. Take in a famous AMI sunset after dinner. Beach towels and beach chairs are provided for your quick walks to the beach.

Located in a cozy neighborhood in Holmes Beach, Happy Place is close to everything the island has to offer. The free trolley stops nearby and travels the entire length of the 7 miles of the island. Hop on and off at your leisure and explore shopping, dining and the beaches.

Our stay on Anna Maria Island was fantastic. The house was absolutely beautiful, and it was such a bonus that three of the bedrooms had their own bathrooms. The pool was wonderful, the linens were great, and the screened-in porch overlooking the pool was truly spectacular. The location could not have been better—an easy walk to the beach and close to tons of restaurants. We would definitely come back to this beautiful place again.The only downsides were the lack of basic supplies. There were no cleaning products, no broom or dustpan initially (though the owner did drop one off once contacted), and no essentials like salt, pepper, or extra paper towels. Each bathroom had just one roll of toilet paper, so it’s helpful to plan to grab a few basics at the store.Overall, the home itself is gorgeous, the stay was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our time there. Still a 5-star stay!

Happy Place

This place was great for our big family. The walk to the beach was a very short couple of minutes. They provided 4 beach chairs, an umbrella, a wagon & boogie boards. The living room was really big and we wished there was more seating so we could fit the whole family in there. The pool was the perfect size, but got pretty hot during the day time.

Family Trip

The property was as advertised. We had an issue with the microwave and oven but the property management company was extremely quick to resolve our concern. The only issue we had were the cockroaches. There were three very large roaches in the house. May be a Florida thing, not sure. The house was super clean though.

Good location good house

This house was as pictured, the location was GREAT! The pool and outside area was awesome. There were a few dead cockroaches upon our arrival, but the property management came to spray quickly. I wish there were a few more amenities such as hand soap and salt and pepper so we didn’t have to buy all of those small things just to throw out.

We found many cockroaches during our weeks stay which was very disturbing. Someone had to come in and spray but we continued to find them.

Fabulous!

First, this house is amazing! We have a large family (six kids) and it is SO hard to find an affordable and family-friendly place to stay. This place was perfect! From the large family room and open kitchen, to the great dining table and bedrooms that were perfect for our arrangement, we could not have been happier. The distance to the beach was amazing--just walking a block and a half is always good, but with this many people, it was a godsend! And the house had chairs and towels and a beach cart--not having to pack that made the trip even more enjoyable. The house has absolutely everything you will need and some of the best cooking gear I have encountered in a rental property. It's also located within walking distance of some of the shops and restaurants. And I cannot say enough about the team at Anna Maria Life Vacation Rentals. They responded quickly to every single one of our questions and requests before and during our stay. They were absolutely concerned with our specific family and our specific trip and responded to every need we had. We were not just another renter to them. You will not regret this house or booking with this company!

Great place! Location was perfect!

This was my first time to Anna Maria and this house was perfect for my family. Easy short walk to the beach. The pool was clean and the temperature was just the way I like it. The screen porch was a nice addition just to sit and relax. The house is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and cookware. I had a minor issue and the realtor addressed it right away. The only thing I would suggest is for the house to have a cooler available to take to the beach. Overall, I would definitely stay there again. My family had a great time!

Comfortable home

Had a very fun week in AMI for spring break. Happy Place was a very comfortable home with lots of space inside & out to relax. The walk to the beach was easy and beach was not crowded at all in our area. No public bathrooms on the beach. Surprisingly, we spent a lot of time out by the pool. There were 4 full loungers and lots of other adirondack chairs and small drink tables. I found the house location to be perfect, walking distance to some bars/restaurants/stores. There is a fridge in the garage which was great to have for storing drinks and leaving the kitchen fridge for food. Wish I would have known this before we arrived because I would've bought more food on the grocery trip into town to avoid extra grocery runs. We did not use the TV in our room but I believe all of the others did and I was surprised all of the bedrooms had TV's. Only thing that was frustrating is they provide just one "starter" item like one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one papertowel, one trash bag, etc., and there was no liquid dish soap or hand soap, so we had to buy all of those items. Found it a bit ridiculous for the price of renting this house. At the very least they could have a box of trash bags, dishwasher tabs, new sponges, liquid dish soap, etc. Overall gave it a 5 star because we had a lot of fun and were very comfortable in the home. I would stay here again.

Perfect for group of friends

We had a great time. Not sure about vacationing in Florida during hurricane season but the weather was absolutely perfect! The 3 minute walk to the beach was nice. The house is lovely! Perfect for 10 people, plenty of seating in dining room. The screened- in porch very nice for relaxing or playing poker or chess. Used the pool quite a bit. Garage is well stocked with pool/beach toys and chairs. Very nice. Plenty of nice large beach towels. Plenty of bath towels. I made the mistake of bringing towels and we did not need them. You can pack light as the laundry room has a wonderful washer and dryer. Kitchen is well stocked with any gadget we needed. Cooked most of our meals at the house. Has a nice Weber gas grill. Loved the water pressure in the shower. The bathrooms are small but had everything we needed.

Great location!

House is in a great location. Close walking distance to the beach and shops. Whatever you do do not plan on doing much during the weekends other than the beach. Traffic is a joke and wait times for restaurants are over 1-2 hours. Property management was always great at responding when I had questions. A huge reason why I’m only doing 3 stars is because after a day of traveling and overly tired kids I went to the bunk room to put together my 2 year olds pack n play and right on the rug was a prescription pill. I was extremely upset! I sent a message right away and the next day I got a phone call apologizing and saying they would send the cleaning crew back over to clean. I declined since we were already settled in and the pill was already thrown away. The next morning I found another pill! Normally I wouldn’t care but since I had my toddler it worried me. If you like firm beds then you will like the beds here. We all slept terrible unless some of the adults passed out drunk haha beds were way to hard for all of us. Couch was better to sleep on. There were some dead cockroaches in one of the cabinets. House has everything you need for cooking and the extra fridge in the garage was great. The ugly grouper was our favorite place to eat. If you have young kids with you take them to the shiny aquarium? To paint sand dollars. The owners are so nice!! We would definitely come back to the island. If the beds were more comfy I’d stay at this house because it is in a great location.

Happy Place was vacationing paradise

We decided after one year of no vacations we would commit to a family friendly staycation in Florida with close family friends. It was the recipe for a perfect R&R get away. We really enjoyed our stay at the Happy Place. It is close to Holmes Beach (two easy walking blocks is the public beach access) homemade ice cream (amazing!) and multiple shops to pick up sunscreen fishing poles and pool stuff (which we didn’t need because the Happy place was well stocked with all of this!). The house was clean and well stocked with plates, pans and linens for the vacation. Washer dryer in unit for personal use. Pool very nice. Heated with plenty of shade or sun if needed. Screened in linai for indoor outdoor socializing and comfort. We traveled with a toddler who still needs a crib. The rental didn’t supply one so we rented one from “Just for fun” rentals and it was a breeze. No baby stuff is provided so bring your own or rent. Can’t say enough great things about this place. Love it and will be back again in the future!

Walk to beach, restaurants, trolley, and more!

This house had everything we needed and more for my family of 6 adults and 1 infant baby. We each had our own room and bathroom/shower to use for our stay, the house was very clean and spacious. The private pool was a bonus and perfect for a quick dip. We walked (and strolled my infant daughter) to the beach, to restaurants for dinner nearby, to the trolley to explore town, you didn't need a car at all! There is a local bar and some restaurants literally a few steps away and the ocean was just across one road. We did rent a car which helped to get groceries and to travel to and from the airport, but it is not required. I would highly recommend this home and location for a visit to sunny Florida!

Local getaway

The house was exactly the way it looked in the pictures. Very clean and had everything needed. It was only 1 block to the beach. It was the perfect getaway after being in lockdown for 3 months. Looking forward to returning.

Marvelous Family Vacation at The Happy Place

This was our first trip to AMI and so far has been one of our best family vacations. We wanted to be able to spend time together but have enough room for our own private space. We are grandparents and took our 2 adult children and their families. The Happy Place, was just perfect. Big enough for all of us. We were close enough to walk to the beach and when we didn’t feel like it, we could just hang out at the pool. The house was well supplied and at no point did we wish or need anything else. It also was close enough to walk for a quick meal at The Feast or Minnie’s Cafe. The younger adults enjoyed spending time away at The Doctor’s Office. If my family didn’t like to try different places every year we would always come back. Who knows this might make us break that tradition.

Good property for families with small children.

Property was as described online, although only master bedroom was spacious. Other bedrooms were a bit cramped and bathrooms were small. House was very clean. After-hours maintenance personnel was easy to contact for a clogged shower drain and corrected problem professionally and efficiently. Hood system over stove top was non-functioning due to electrical issue but didn't prevent us from cooking. Heavy rains revealed leaks in roof through ceiling in family room. Again, maintenance personnel came quickly to document and prepare paperwork for repairs. Pool was clean but the pool sweeper required to remain with hose attached constantly moving throughout pool was annoying. Beach access easy. AMI staff very good to work with!

Friendly neighbors, comfortable.

We were pleased with the comfort of the home. House was clean and accessible. Bedrooms were spacious, but two bathrooms seemed a bit tight. That would only affect me since I'm 6'4. At that height the kitchen was setup nice, but the hood over the stove should be raised to accommodate taller people in the kitchen. (Missed hitting my head on the corner of the hood a few times) pool area was nice and refreshing. Home was stocked with good utensils and dishware. Overall, it was nice, but I will try another home in the future.

Great place to stay!

Happy Place is wonderful, with lots of room and has great amenities and the house is stocked with beach towels and beach gear and it's just down the road to the beach with a 3 minute walk! Close to stores and restaurants! Would love to stay again in the future.

Super house for 8 adults!

This house is bigger than it looks! It worked great for our 80 year old parents and us siblings. We love to cook, so the gas grill, stove, and oven came in handy. The beach is really close, just a short walk. Pool was great and we loved the screened in porch. The dining table and dining room were great for our meals together. It was in a quiet area in a neighborhood with trolley stops within walking distance. They had beach chairs, a beach umbrella & a wagon to pull it all in. Lots of pans, dishes to use. No wine glasses or water pitcher, but we made do. You have to buy or take all your kitchen supplies if u want to to do your own cooking. Things like spices, foil, ziplocks, paper plates etc. it was very clean when we got there. They brought a propane tank soon after we called for one. We would definitely stay there again if we were able to.
