Byron St Studio
A somber filled hand crafted cabin nestled amongst Australian native trees, by the beach + the river.
Hidden amongst the trees, you almost don’t notice the Byron St Studio from a distance. Clad with Japanese Shou sugi ban to help it disappear into it's natural surroundings.
You step inside to a somber filled wooden cabin where you can hear the ocean waves and the birds chirping.
The studio is in a little beachside village in New Brighton, which includes a river too! It's a true gem of the Byron Bay region, with many tourists not having heard about it.
A place to unwind, switch off from devices and just be.
Wake up to the song of a kookaburra and either go for a paddle in the river or a surf in the ocean followed by an outdoor hot shower amongst the trees.
Ride or walk to brekky at the local cafe yum yum tree just a 2 minute walk away and then home for a siesta or read one of the many book's inside. Light the fire at sunset and have a cosy night in or go for dinner at any of the amazing restaurants on offer around Brunswick heads, Mullumbimby or Byron Bay. Just 5-20 mins drive away.
30 mins to Gold Coast Airport
It's only a 2 minute walk to the local New Brighton General Store with lots of local + gourmet produce and goods.
Every Tuesday morning is the local farmers market, almost in our front yard. Definitely one you don't want to miss!
Black out curtains in bedroom for a long nights rest where you will wake up to the birds and the sound of the ocean.
Custom made kitchen equipped with dish washer, fridge, induction burner, pour over coffee and machine, kettle and toaster. Webber BBQ amongst the trees on the deck.
The studio is on our property, so we are on site if you need us.
We live behind the studio in a completely seperate house, where you will only see us using the driveway to drive in and out, and every now again when we walk to the beach etc. We do have 2 young boys who love being outdoors, but our yard is completely seperate to the studio which has its own garden area. We like to keep to ourselves and give you your privacy.
