Escape to the mountains at Inn Between Pines, a charming two-story log-style cabin surrounded by towering trees in a convenient central Big Bear location. With a private hot tub, game room, cozy fireplace, and space for up to seven guests, this inviting retreat has everything families and friends need for a fun and relaxing mountain getaway.

Step inside to warm hardwood floors, classic mountain décor, and an open living and dining area filled with natural light from tall windows. Settle into the comfortable seating beside the gas fireplace, catch a favorite movie or show on the TV with cable, or simply relax together after a day exploring Big Bear.

The fully equipped kitchen provides the appliances, cookware, and essentials needed to prepare meals at home, along with a dishwasher for easy cleanup. Counter seating and a dining table provide plenty of space for everyone to gather for breakfast before the slopes or dinner after a day at the lake. When it's time for some friendly competition, head to the game room for a full-size pool table, darts, and TV. Additional foosball in the downstairs bedroom gives the group even more ways to have fun without leaving the cabin.

Step outside onto the patio deck to enjoy the fresh mountain air and peaceful tree-lined surroundings. Outdoor furnishings provide a comfortable place to relax, while your private hot tub is ready for a soothing soak beneath the stars after skiing, hiking, or exploring town.

The flexible sleeping arrangements make Inn Between Pines a great option for families and groups. Downstairs, the first bedroom features a full/twin bunk bed set, full sleeper sofa, cable TV, foosball, and direct deck access. Upstairs, the second bedroom offers a queen bed, cable TV, private 3/4 bathroom, and its own balcony. Centrally located, Inn Between Pines keeps you within minutes of Big Bear's ski resorts, lake, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and downtown Village. Whether your plans include hitting the slopes, spending a summer day by the water, exploring town, or simply relaxing at the cabin, you'll have easy access to Big Bear's year-round attractions.

Great property

We had a great time staying at this property. Amenities, including the hot tub, were great. The managing staff were very responsive to all questions and we even got to check in a little early, which was huge for us. Can't say enough good things about our stay. Thanks!

Holiday happiness

Staying here w 5 adult children was so enjoyable. Clean, everything working, great beds- hallelujah. Wish there were pull out couch in living room for 1 more. :) Clean working hot tub was a fabulous end to day of great Snow Summit ski and night ski. Superb family getaway!

Great rental and great service

Our family had a great time staying at Inn Between Pines. The place was clean and very welcoming. There was an issue with the jacuzzi being cloudy, understandable after the 4th of July weekend. We called to have it checked out and the worker came right out and fixed it right away.

Family's annual winter vacation

We typically will go to the Desert or San Diego for our Family Winter Vacation. This year we decided to go to Big Bear. This cabin was centrally located, which made it nice to go to the Village or head to the slopes. It was clean and spacious. It had enough room where our two teenage boys could hangout with eachother or we all hungout and played games or watched movies. We would highly recommend this cabin.

Check in process was rough. Can’t check in until 4:00 and if it’s after 5:00 there are extra fees. We waited until 4:00 and had not received anything from them so we reached out. After spending 15-20 minutes on the phone we got an email with instructions to access the home. The reason we could not check in until after 4:00 was because the home wasn’t clean/ready. The home was not clean, so that was frustrating. The home advertised and showed photos of a BBQ grill. We planned on this and brought food to cook. The BBQ was locked and had signs that said “not for guest use”. We called and they said they would send someone. Nobody ever came. We ended up having to go out to buy dinner the first night. The bed our kid slept in had a dirty sock in it. We messaged them again and they said they would take care of it. The next day they wanted to send someone to take care of the cleaning issues (sock in bed, spider webs and dirt everywhere), we didn’t want to wait around for them to show up so we asked that they just leave clean bedding. We came back from buying another meal we planned on cooking at the house to find their cleaners in the home and moved our stuff. They never resolved any of the issues. Disappointing to spend that much money and not have amenities advertised or the customer service to make it right.

Great Cabin for the entire family

Stood in this beautiful cabin for the weekend. The check in process was seamless. The employees were very courteous. The cabin was very cozy. We loved the hot tub. Only complaint I have is the old rusted forks and spoons in the kitchen drawers. We had to purchase plastic ones since it was sanitary to eat off of those. Other than that, we had a blast. Lots of games available as well :(

Very nice cabin, good location!

Overall we had a really nice time at the cabin, and everything was great. I would give it 5 stars if it was cleaned a little better. There are 5 of us, so we needed the pullout couch for the extra bed, extra sheets in the closet seemed to have been left unwashed after the last guests, there were make up items left in the closet. Also, the hairdryer didn’t work, when called the office I was informed “hairdryer is not provided, and whoever left the broken one in, it was by mistake”, also the tv in the bedroom doesn’t work. Again, really nice cabin but cleanliness could be better.

Poor housekeeping and listening photos deceiving

The bathrooms on the second floor did not flused, which was so inconvenient for a family of 5. Dirty dishes on the cupboards. The carpet had pet stains everywhere. Othet than it was good. Just dirty and not well maintained.

Perfect mountain vacay

The house had everything we hoped for PLUS a great location, super clean, comfortable beds, great water pressure. Who could ask for more? We would definitely stay here again.

There is No Street Parking Allowed in Big Bear- Make Every Attempt to Get Cars Off the Street for Snowplows. November thru April the law requires snow chains in your cars.

Pet Policy-Pet Friendly Homes Only-$40/Pet/Night
Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.

All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.

No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.

No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
