Location! Location! Location! Whether you want to spend the day at the beach, walk to the lighthouse, or enjoy ice cream from House of Flavors, A Place for Paws is a short 5 minute walk away. Come and enjoy this simple, dog friendly, 118 year old historic home in beautiful downtown Ludington. A Place for Paws is located 3 short blocks from downtown and 4 blocks from Stearns Park. While this home has been around for many years, it has been well cared for and you will find it quaint and charming. It is cozy, clean, and contains many amenities for you to enjoy. A Place for Paws offers a main floor bedroom and full bathroom with a shower and 2 additional bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs. The open plan dining and living room area makes socializing a breeze. Prefer to enjoy the outdoors? You will find a large concrete patio with grill and firepit in the backyard-perfect for dining outside or enjoying the gorgeous summer evenings Northern Michigan is so well known for. The backyard is also fully fenced in making it the perfect area for you and your beloved dog to enjoy. Or relax on the covered front porch and soak in the slow pace of Ludington. We would love to welcome you to this modest home, so you may too enjoy the magic that is Ludington.

Cozy place to stay in Ludington. Great access to downtown and Stearns. And our dog loved chillin in the backyard and around town. :) We had an absolutely wonderful stay here, highly recommended!

Perfect Location Lovely Home

Great location and adorable home…Just blocks from Stearns beach, pickleball courts, and main streets with restaurants and shops. Great space for our family of 6 plus one doggie! We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved everything about this house. It's clean and comfortable, has great amenities and is close to anything and everything cool in Ludington. And our dog also loved walking the great neighborhood and laying in the sunny, secure, fenced backyard.

Amazing

This house has everything you needed for a wonderful stay. The location to everything is amazing. The house is well stocked and has so many things to enjoy if you are staying in for the night. The rooms were neat, clean, and the beds were super comfortable. Communication with property manager was amazing. We will definitely stay here again!!

Dog friendly

Location was great to walk to downtown shops and Stearn park and nearby dog beach. Our greyhound, Sadie, loved having a fenced in yard and loved the dog beaches!

Great stay!

This was a perfect house for our family of 4 and dog. Very clean and well appointed. Plenty of space and a very comfortable place to hang out and have family time. Very close to everything Ludington. Would stay here again for sure.

2nd Stay here just as perfect as the first!

Great family home for the teens, kids, and pets! We walked everywhere and enjoyed the dining and beach trips. We drove to kayak at nearby parks; played disc golf at several courses; visited nearby cities, too. Wish we could have spent another week as everything was perfect. We will definitely stay here again!!

This house has everything you need for a getaway. Walking distance to downtown Ludington, the park and the beach. We especially liked the fenced in backyard so our dog didn’t have to be tied up. Enjoyed the fire pit.

A wonderful place to stay!

We truly loved this home, and everything about it. It was super clean and comfortable, and had everything we could possibly need. To be able to stay somewhere like this with our two fur babies means so much to us. The location is great, in a peaceful neighborhood and close to everything. We can't wait to return to A Place For Paws the next time we are in Ludington! Thank you for such a nice place to stay!

Ludington getaway

Good location, house was an older house which I liked. 6 and 9 yo grandchildren with us, perfect for the four of us. Nice back yard, fire pit, quiet neighborhood. Nice to walk to beach and to get ice cream. Everything was clean, no smell of pets. Thank you for letting us use your house!

We stay at Vrbo homes regularly and we truly enjoyed our stay here! The location is perfect! The home is well stocked for those who cook at home. The accommodations were very comfortable and perfect for 4 adults 2 kids (13 & 16) and a dog. We loved how welcome they make you feel with a pet. We enjoyed the backyard for a fire pit and cornhole, as well as the front porch during quick rain spouts.

Great Place!

The property was awesome. Very close to downtown and the water. Had great 'hangout spaces' within the home and also out back near the firepit. They provided a firestarter and pack of logs -- THANK YOU!! -- for us to use while we stayed. It was very clean and had very clear instructions of how to be a good citizen while staying. Thanks for letting us stay in your awesome property

We stayed at the property to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The kids enjoyed their first vacation with Millie, our Golden Doodle, who felt at home staying here. The home was well appointed for humans and pets where we felt comfortable both inside and outside. The property was walking distance to town and the beach.

Fantastic Ludington Stay

The house was spotlessly clean. The communication with the owner was easy and any questions were answered immediately. It is very pet friendly. The backyard is completely fenced. The beds were very comfortable. Everything worked. The location to downtown is excellent. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Love staying at this house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year staying here. I can’t say enough good things about the cleanliness, comfort, amenities, and location of this home. It’s a wonderful house/place for us and our two Golden Retrievers, in a quiet neighborhood with a great vibe. Some nice updates to the bathrooms since our last visit too. It has everything we need, feels like home, and is close to everything in town and the lake. Nikki is one of the best property managers I have ever worked with. Once again, we cannot wait to come back!
