1. We live on our large balcony. It brings the outside in as our living space, it faces due north catching lots of sun and nice summer sea breezes: its the perfect entertaining area.

2. The Bunker! Our combined wine cellar and dining room ... this is our own private speakeasy. We love sharing this atmospheric intimate space with friends and family.

3. We are an easy 7-minute walk to everything that Manly has to offer. Being up the hill, we benefit from the sea-breeze, with none of the hustle and bustle when the beach gets busy. It is so peaceful and quiet. There is a local bus right outside and a great café, Paolo's, just around the corner.

4. The interiors are very light with high ceilings. Even on grey days, this is a joyful space.

5. Love, just love, our outdoor shower! Coming back from the beach, it's great to feel so private while outside and have a hot rinse off. It makes it very easy to keep the sand out of the house. Surfboard storage is easy too.

Home Truths

• The bunker is accessed via a spiral staircase. You should always pay attention when going up and down. There is an external staircase as well.

• Duck your head when entering the study/games loft space.

• Please make sure to always keep the fan on in the laundry when the dryer is going.

• As we are on a corner with a lane behind, we have no direct neighbours adjacent to the property. Bonus!
