This ground-floor apartment is part of a quiet two-unit building and offers a simple, comfortable place with a private entrance to settle in during your time in Hobart. Step inside to a light-filled living area with two plush sofas, giving everyone room to relax—whether you’re stretching out with a book, watching a film, or just enjoying a quiet moment. Large windows bring in plenty of daylight and greenery views, creating a calm, homely atmosphere.

The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooking, practical bench space, and all the basics for easy meals. A standout feature is the breakfast bar, which has been crafted from recycled timbers taken from an old Tasmanian bridge, offering both a story and a casual spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Nearby, a timber dining table provides a relaxed place to share meals, work remotely or enjoy a quiet game.

Each of the three bedrooms is simply furnished and carpeted for warmth and comfort. Two rooms have queen beds, and the third has a double—all with fresh linen to help you sleep well. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and a floating vanity, offering a practical spot to refresh after a long day. A separate laundry with a washer, dryer and utility sink adds convenience for longer stays.

With on-site parking available for one vehicle in the driveway, this home offers a no-fuss, welcoming base close to everything you need.

Lenah Valley is a peaceful, leafy neighbourhood on the edge of the city, right next to vibrant North Hobart. You'll find fantastic local spots just minutes away, including Whisk & Co for a relaxed brunch and Milano for a casual pizza night—both only a six-minute walk from home. For more dining options and everyday essentials, New Town Road is 1.3 km away and home to Woolworths and a range of eateries.

The area is also home to the much-loved Jean-Pascal Patisserie, perfect for morning pastries or afternoon treats. Calvary Hospital is only a few steps away, making the location convenient for visiting families or medical professionals. When it’s time to explore further, Hobart’s city centre, Salamanca and the waterfront precinct are minutes away—easy to reach by car or public transport.

It was convenient and suited my purpose . The outside (backyard) , rear entrance needed a bit of tidying up . Litter , discarded cleaning equipment , trip hazard ( cement block in ground hidden by dirt and leaves ) . Quite disconcerting when I arrived as solo occupant.

Never trust and would not recommend this owner/property

I have been travelling through out Australia for a long time. I am a health professional who travels and works for rural communities. The issues we have faced with this owner: -The description given on the site is including good facilities/heating etc is not true. The property was unclean with ants, unsafe power plugs everywhere lying around, heating not working. -I complained about the ducted heating issue to the owner at the same time I stepped into the house. Evidence attached in re to all correspondence in order. - The owner sent his cleaner to look into the issue. but not a professional to check it. -We had 2 kids and an old mum who really needed comfortable heating, hence we started using the heaters on site/electric ones. After using one in each room, the switch board tripped off, and the owner advised that its overloaded and in writing he emailed me how to switch on the board, which should not be done by a visitor to the property as its not at all our responsibility and on a cold weather day, my husband would have been even electricuted and caused a big risk. The property is not safe to live in , if the equipment in there which is kept by the owner cannot be used. -Owner made us suffer in cold weather in that house and was very inhuman not letting us check out to find a comfortable place, although the property issues were his fault, did not care how uncomfortable our family was. -Noted that a previous customer also faced the same issue in Dec 2022. PLS DONT GO HERE

Good location

Plenty of rooms, all appliances in good order.Friendly service as I locked myself out. Beds a bit rough but was told they are being replaced. Overall very nice apartment.

Would not recommend

Driveway to off street parking was a major safety hazard, requiring us to park on busy main road, even property manager said that they won’t use the driveway as you only have to be off centre a tiny bit and you go off the edge of driveway (when she came out to the property to fix tv) accommodation maybe ground floor but access is very limited if you have any mobility issues, I found it very difficult Upon arriving the outside was covered in cigarette butts, a Butter knife and rubbish House was freezing, ducted heating didn’t work, we plugged in portable electric heaters and it tripped the power, had to go back up hazardous driveway to mainroad to upstairs apartment landing to access switchboard, obviously a known issue with property as they had a note on the fridge saying not to plug too many things in as it will Trip the power, we had only plugged in a small heater in 2 of the bedrooms and one in lounge due to being so cold and it tripped out, nothing else was being used at the time (found note after power tripped out) the kitchen bench tops had cooked rice around canisters, as did the garbage bin inserts, lounge suites had filthy stains on them, my friends bed had a tampon wrapper at the bottom of it, beds had no pillow protectors and one bed had no mattress protector, ants in middle bedroom with child waking up with ants on on them, tv didn’t work, someone came out the second day and took half an hour to get it working (we appreciated that) Myself and/or my family members stay away from home at least fortnightly and have never had any issues with cleanliness until this one!!!!! I wouldn’t recommend this property
