Una cómoda y agradable cabaña en las tranquilas colinas entre Siena y San Gimignano

Su alquiler de vacaciones de verano en un país tranquilo y romántico, donde podrá observar pájaros, venados y jabalíes. La cabaña, completamente independiente y con cocina, ha sido recientemente reconstruida con criterios de ahorro de energía. Estamos ubicados a una hora en automóvil de la ciudad de arte: Siena, Florencia, San Gimignano, Volterra, Monteriggioni, San Galgano, los sitios etruscos de Populonia y la costa del Tirreno. Un lugar ideal para recargar las energías lejos de la tensión de la vida diaria. Paseos inolvidables con vistas románticas se pueden organizar en la Reserva Natural del Estado de Cornocchia, a pocos minutos a pie de la casa.

True peace in the heart of Tuscany

All was very nice, especially the hosts - answered our questions and helped out with the dining (can be hard in the countryside!) House is very clean and extremely quiet, as it neighbors just the owners house and one more. Other than that just beautiful hills of Tuscany, almost exclusively for you

A gem

We had an amazing stay! Our hosts, Maria and Mario are wonderful, genuine people. They were full of tips and suggestions, booked restaurants for us and even took us to a Dr when needed, but never intruded on our privacy. The house is a delight. It much exceeded our expectations. The photos can't do it justice. The view of the unspoilt countryside is stunning. We watched deer almost daily feeding in the grassy meadows below at dawn or dusk, and the fire flies flitting around in the dark countryside at night! We even saw a fox on our walk along the track from the house through the forest and meadows down to the river. The new terrace surrounding the house is very tasteful, with tables, chairs and loungers on just about every side of the house. We loved the fact that it is off the busy tourist trail, and that the nearby hilltop villages of Belforte and Radicondoli are so unspoilt and picturesque. Yet Sienna and the coast are also easily accessible within an hour not to mention many other wonderful little Tuscan towns. The only downside is the bumpy road leading to the house, but it is bearable when taken slowly. In summary we highly recommend it!

Very nice but in the middle of nowhere....

Despite having rain for 4 out of the 7 days we were there, we all had a good time on this holiday. The cottage itself is new, very clean and has every conceivable amenity. We particularly enjoyed getting the wood-burning stove going which saved on central heating costs. MariaPia and Mario were the perfect hosts. They were very kind and helpful and both spoke (almost) perfect English. You will either love or hate the location because it is truly isolated being 20km down winding roads to get anywhere, including the nearest supermarket. Nevertheless we managed to visit Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and the Chianti region without too much difficulty. We loved them all but San Gimignano was by far our favourite.. There is a network of unpaved gravel roads all around (and to) the property so those who enjoy walking and watching for wildlife will benefit most from the isolation. However, none of the roads is flat! Because of the rain we weren't able to take full advantage of this. We weren't too impressed by the restaurant in the closest village but it was the only one we tried. If you want to get away from it all and, like us, you don't find much charm in some old converted barn, then we highly recommend it.

Wenn ihr ein ruhiges, neues, mit allem nötigem eingerichtetes Haus sucht, fahrt zu Mario und Maria Pia. Sehr nette Vermieter - kein Wunsch bleibt offen. Zum Abschalten wirklich sehr zu empfehlen! Lage etwas weiter "drin" aber dafür ist man für sich alleine. Wir kommen wieder. Preis/Leistung top.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben unseren Aufenthalt in ruhiger Umgebung sehr genossen. Die Vermieter, die im Haus nebenan wohnen, standen immer für Fragen zur Verfügung, waren jedoch niemals zu präsent. Das Haus ist vollständig ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Lage etwas unterhalb von Belforte mit weitem Blick über die bewaldeten Hügel ist für Urlauber, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen optimal. Die Unterkunft ist ebenfalls als Stützpunkt für Ausflüge in die mittleren und südliche Toskana gut geeignet. Das Meer ist in etwa einer Stunde erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Unser Geheimtipp

Wir haben uns herzlich willkommen und rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Haus und der Ausblick sind noch besser, als auf den Fotos. Eine Oase der Ruhe und ein Hort der Gastfreundschaft. In der Dämmerung kann man von der Terrasse Hirsche und Wildschweine beobachten. In Belforte gibt es das beste Brot zu kaufen, was wir in der Toskana gefunden haben. Nachts schläft man ruhig, wie ein Säugling und wird morgens mur vom Vogelgezwitscher geweckt. Ein Traum, vielen Dank an Maria und Mario!

geweldig!

Na een hobbelig onverhard weggetje kom je aan bij een prima verzorgd huisje met een mega uitzicht, waar je geen genoeg van kunt krijgen. Hartelijke eigenaren, behulpzaam. Wel rekening houden met lange reistijden voor boodschappen in verband met de kronkelige wegen, verder meer dan top, met een heerlijk bed.

Das Haus von Maria Pia und Mario ist top - sehr sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Man merkt, dass beide viel Herzblut in die Einrichtung stecken. Die Eigentümer sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Zalige rust in comfortabel huis met mooi uitzicht

Lieve ontvangst door de eigenaars met lekker flesje wijn en zoetigheid van de streek. Al het nodige om lekker te kunnen koken is aanwezig, het bed is heel comfortabel, overal aan ramen en deuren vliegenramen zodat muggen buiten blijven… leuk terrasje om buiten te eten.

Silence, nature au cœur de la Toscane

Der Empfang war herzlich, die Betrueung vorort sehr gut. Die Umgebung ist sehr ländlich und der Weg ins Dorf ein schöner Fußweg. Weit weg vom Touristentrubel eine gute Einkehr.

Wonderful place to relax

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Maria and Mario are great host and they were very helpful. The home is very clean and perfectly located. The home was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We are very happy to have chosen this cottage and would recommend it to others.

Beautiful and lovely place to stay

Maria and Mario are the perfect hosts. The property is located near the hilltop village of Belforte .it overlooks the Tuscan hills and is an ideal location to relax. You maybe lucky to see wild deer and boar.there are many hiking routes nearby through the forests.the property is spotlessly clean and has all that you require. This was our second visit and we will go again

We had a wonderful time at Maria Pia and Mario's property. They were absolutely fantastic hosts and could not have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Sehr schönes Ferienhaus.

Ruhige Lage. Toller Blick in die Landschaft. Haus sehr gut ausgestattet. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten im Umkreis von 50 km ( Auto allerdings notwendig ). Wanderungen ab Haus möglich. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber.

Heerlijk rustig!

Dit huisje in Radicondoli ligt midden in de bergen en heeft een fantastisch uitzicht. Vanuit de slaapkamer zie je de zonsopkomst en dat is fantastisch wakker worden... Het schattige huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en er is buiten ook voldoende plek om te relaxen. Snachts hoor je echt helemaal niets! Mario is erg vriendelijk en hij heeft ons veel leuke tips gegeven om te doen en te zien. Het huisje ligt wel erg afgelegen en in deze tijd van het jaar is het vroeg donker, en zonder straatverlichting in de bergen is het best spannend rijden....

Un piccolo angolo di paradiso

Non posso che confermare il giudizio di chi mi ha preceduto. Posto estremamente tranquillo, solo le cicale e i grilli a farvi compagnia. Di notte silenzio assoluto ( e materassi comodissimi) che vi permetteranno favolose dormite. Casa perfetta, ampia, dotata di tutti i comfort e di tutte le attrezzature necessarie. E se per caso vi manca ancora qualcosa, basta dirlo ai proprietari e in men che non si dica vedrete arrivare ciò che avete chiesto. Maria Pia e Mario sono sempre pronti per ogni vostra necessità e non potrete non stringere amicizia con loro. E magari anche con i loro gatti, silenziosi e riservati pure loro! Insomma un posto che si lascia a malincuore e in cui viene voglia di tornare subito. Cinque stelle non bastano.

Perfect place to stay in Tuscany

Beautiful location and cottage

The owners are lovely people and the cottage is clean. The views from the terrace over the Tuscan countryside are divine. Wirhin easy reach of Florence Sienna Pisa and Voltera although a car is a must. If you like peace and quiet then this is the place.

Very clean and spacious, nice and relaxing

We had a fantastic week at Mario and MariaPia's property. It was unbelievably peaceful and the view from the terrace is just so calming and beautiful. House is spacious and very clean with everything you would need. Great location with lots to see and do within 1.5 hrs drive. It really is a superb landscape and we loved driving around as every road has stunning views. Mario and MariaPia were just so hospitable and welcoming. They were also very helpful in giving advice on things to do and how to get there. It was a treat to have met them, so nice. We would not hesitate to go back, beautiful!

A joyful experience with two great hosts

Due to a delay we arrived late at night and had to ask in Belforte for direction. The nice People called Maria and then we got it right. They waited for us in the dark and welcomed us with a nice Chianti. The house is nice, the view great and the nearby town Belforte as well as the slightly farer Radicondoli always good for a visit. Maria and Mario can provide with enough tipps that you can really dig into the Tuscan way of life. We´ll be back!

Just a terrific place to stay if you want peace and solitude along the way!

The property was outstanding! Very well maintained in all areas. Anna Pita and Mario are excellent hosts. Both offered local recommendations that exceeded our expectations. Great experience, it's very understandable why their past reviews are so good. Just great people!

My husband and I came from Milan to this wonderful area of Tuscany in 1996. We have been enchanted by the quietness and brightness of the surrounding nature, the silence of the nights, the wildlife around with deer and a lot of different birds. In addition Tuscan food is so delicious and full of flavor! In a short time we can reach the cities of art or the sea side, enjoying other areas within Tuscany.
