The whole cabin was dirty, the silverware was still in the dishwasher unclean, the hot tub was nasty, one of my grandsons found a barf bag on the pool table and threw it away, he was the first one to get sick, 2 days later we all were sick with the flu, all 11 of us, we went to urgent care, and the kids went to the ER. We came back to the cabin one nighr and didnt have any water. Nobody could shower or use the bathroom. Some of the kids had to go in the woods. There was a bad "Racial Slur" left on the word board up stairs that we had to explain to the kids. It was overall a terrible experience. There is trash and lint around the washer and dryer which is a fire hazard. I would really like for someone to set up a time for a phone call.

The house was good. It was clean and view was awesome from the house. The internet was a little spotty as already mentioned by the host. Overall we had a good experience staying in the house.

Maintenace spoils this cabin.

My family stayed at 50 mile view Dec. 31 to Jan 2. The cabin and view are wonderful. Sorry to say the Maintenace will keep us from being repeaters or recommending it. We were told the broken front door is on order. The microwave door is held together with duct tape. The bottom oven door is broken, so is the back control cannel on the stove. Went to grill dinner and there was no propane. BIG INCONVIENCE! Hot tub was not very clean and only had a wooden table as a single step to get in, making it almost useless to us. Brown bedroom on the 3rd floor had hundreds of dead lady bugs under the bed, along with a pair of men's underwear. The door handle came off in our hands. Either of the lamps in that room worked. The other 3rd floor bedroom had leaf debree between the sheets. Volume in the theater room was iffy at best, so we could not use that room. There are several other problems, but I think you get the point. We rent cabins several time a year, and this is the first time I have given less than a 9 star review. I feel generous giving this one a 5/6.

The cabin was beautiful, equipped with everything you would need. The trees on the property have taken over and there is not much to see, but it didn't take away from the mountain view.. The driveway is somethingand we didn't like to leave because of it.

Amazing adventure

We had an amazing time and enjoyed the veiw so much. The communication with the host was on point and quick response. The kitchen was well stocked with every appliance and tool we needed. We were very comfortable and cozy in this home. Our boys stayed up stairs on the pool table and had a blast. We really loved our stay.

Nice "older" cabin

The cabin was nice; it was really winding roads to get to but had a great view. It was clean and spacious. The front porch has small steps and the lighting to the porch was nonexistent. Only the front row of theater seats work and the surround sound wasn't on, we worked with it and got the front on, but not the back. There are "thousands" of ladybugs on the upper windowsills. Everything else was nice for sure!

The property homed our families perfectly! Our kids couldn’t get enough use of the pool table and had tournaments every day. The view is amazing and worth the drive up the mountain. Thank you!

Our stay was great and we would like to stay there again. The one thing is that we were very lucky that we have a 250 Ford with 4x4 we diffently needed to use it. The house was cozy . The stay was great.

Few hiccups but WONDERFUL STAY😊

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home for the weekend. My son is in the air force stationed in Europe and wanted to do some hiking in the mountains during his stay, and we ended up here. We had a group of 13 and it was more than enough room that everyone didn't feel crowded. We had a few issues upon arrival, we contacted the host , Jennifer and Dennis replied quickly and were super nice about resolving them. The home needs some updating on the deck and some of the worn deck furniture and I would put all the games upstairs with the pool table,( just my personal opinion). Its not a deal breaker, a family can still have a really nice time, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you again Jennifer and Dennis, keep being wonderful!!😊

We visited with our adult children and their families. Great facility. Fantastic view. It was a little more of a trip into town and Great Smoky Mountain National Park than we realized, but plenty of room and things to do right at the cabin. Property management was also very helpful.

Great View Up on the Mountain

We enjoyed the cabin. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed the pool table, theater room and fire pit. Sleeping accommodations were a little tight with four families, and we had issues with the dishwasher and the unit could have been cleaner when we checked in.

Beautiful house at the VERY top of the mountain

Amazing house! Crazy drive up the mountain to get to it . We had 15 people and 1 small dog in our group and the house had plenty of room for all of us. The only complaint was the cleaning people were still cleaning when it was our check in time. So we had to wait for a while on the road before the driveway ( if you know the location, it’s a tight fit for trucks on the top of a mountain). Other than that, we all enjoyed our stay and the view was fantastic!

Wonderful weekend in the Smokies

We had a blast at 50 Mile View. My family does an annual reunion/whitewater rafting trip. This year we did the Pigeon Forge River, and 50 Mile View was an excellent base for us. Our first day, there was a bit of rain, and it was so cool to see the Smoky Mountains live up to their name! With three levels of living, 50 Mile View allowed us to spread out to have fun, and get together to have fun. We enjoyed the pool table, the Scrabble board, and made some minimal use of the TV Theatre room. We cooked all our meals at the house, and found the kitchen well stocked and the grill worked well. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night, making S'Mores and playing with sparklers. The precautions around the garbage cans were well warranted, as we had a bear visit us during our visit!

Nh family getaway

We had a great time at this property. We brought our family from Nh, Omaha and Georgia together and this house was perfect. The view was magnificent and was located near everything we wanted to do. We recommend this property to others who are looking to stay in the area and hope to book it again.

Beautiful House and great weekend

House was amazing and we had a wonderful trip. House was mostly clean and had everything we could need. A few minor details were lacking but nothing that affected the overall experience. I would absolutely recommend it!

Views are awesome

The views in this place are amazing. The drive up the steep hill is so worth it. The house was set up great for my family and another couple with their baby to stay. There was some wear and tear on the house but nothing you wouldn't expect from a rental. The location was great. Easy drive to pigeon forge, Gatlinburg, wears valley, and Townsend. I would definitely stay there again.

Christmas in the Mountains

The pictures do not do this place justice. When we walked in this place, we were in awe. It was beautiful and very clean. There was plenty of room to accommodate everyone comfortably. Mother nature was not on our side when we visited. We experienced below freezing temperatures and snow which caused us to lose power a couple of times. However, many people in the town had the same story. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in warmer weather:)
