Sunshine cottage is conveniently located on the main street of South Katoomba. 1.2km from Katoomba Train Station and Echo Point Visitor Informaiton Centre (Three Sisters), which is a 15-minute walk. It is a short stroll to Aldi, Woolworths and Coles supermarkets.

We enjoyed our short stay at Sunshine Cottage. It was close walking distance to the 3 Sisters as well as Katoomba village. The rooms were comfortable, we had excellent WiFi access and used the smart TV and Netflix. the kitchen was well equipped and the deck was lovely and sunny in the afternoon of our second day. On the first day it was cold and rainy but the cottage was perfect for this as we lit a fire and enjoyed the warmth on an unseasonably cold day. We'll be back!

Very clean, well equipped, great location, the step down access to kitchen was a slight challenge to myself but otherwise, a very comfortable house.

Overall a very good experience. Central heating and electric bankers very handy as well as two full bathrooms. Big problem with combustion fire place. There is no seal on the door, could smell smoke in the living room, so quite dangerous.

Nice stay in Katoomba!

Our family was only able to stay one night in this adorable little house, which was in a cute neighborhood. The house was fairly easy to find and was clean, although a bit sparse (I like things on the homey side). It was very cold when we arrived, but after turning on the heating it warmed up enough. The house is fairly close to hiking and restaurants, but there are a lot of hills so just keep that in mind.

Sunshine Cottage stay

Overall the cottage was good. There was dirty laundry from previous visitors on the front verandah until the day after we checked in. We thought there was not enough toilet paper supplied for the length of our booking and needed to buy more. The large back deck was great. The location of the cottage was really good too. Thank you.

small cottage house

overall a pleasant cottage, great location although up a very steep hill to get to Main Street shops and restaurants. Nice walk to 3 sisters, again hilly but you are in the blue mountains. Negative is main bathroom doesn't have any heating, bedrooms are really small and one has no wardrobe. There was only 4 adults. We would stay again. Thank you

We had a perfect mini getaway at Sunshine Cottage. The house was very spacious and looks exactly like the photographs. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect boutique-hotel feel

Lovely property, refreshingly pet friendly. Great communication from owners. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Great location - short walk one way to Katoomba, the other to Echo Point. Highly recommend.

Great location

I rate this property highly but it’s in no way luxurious so don’t be fooled by the rating. The property was very clean inside and well equipped. Two bedrooms weren’t huge with no wardrobes. The a/c fan is extremely noisy. Sounds like a bike idling. Furnishings are quite sparse but adequate. Entry was quite dirty with bags of linen left all weekend for pickup. The garden needs a really good trim as it’s quite dark in the house. Lawn needed a mow. In saying all that, I would still stay again. Positives were many. Great comfortable beds with lovely linen and electric blankets. Good showers with strong hot water. Big deck and bbq which we didn’t use though. Books, games and everything else you need for a comfortable stay. Great position and quite even though it’s a main road. It’s a good, small family home

Clean and tidy - but noisy air con

Clean and tidy Kitchen and the chocolate biscuits were a nice touch. The futon style lounges were really uncomfortable to sit on but are probably good little beds for kids The heating was so noisy it sounded like a helicopter was landing. The sensor lights didn’t come on and I nearly fell done the stairs coming home in the evening - and no I wasn’t drunk!

Katoomba stay

Great location. Comfortable house, although two of the bedrooms were smallish, our friends found the bed quite small for a double. There is a fabulous outdoor decked area, which we didn't take advantage of because of inclement weather and a big yard suitable for kids and dogs running around. The ensuite toilet seat needs replacing as it would move when sat on (a bit scary)! We could not find bins on the property to place our rubbish in so took our recycling off the property. Overall it was a good stay....

Beautiful property

Absolutely stunning property. Only thing i think that might need some fixing would be the shower head in the ensuite bathroom. The adjustable head kept falling down during the shower. Other than that perfect house

Wonderful stay

There were 5 of us traveling and loved the location. The home was clean and had the basics. We walked to many things as the location is prime. We did several day trips from here as well. Great times had by all!

Great location

Overall this property is ok. Heating works well but it's freezing when it's off. Very basic amenities provided. We could only get one of the burners on the stove to work. Close to everything Katoomba. Thanks for having us.

The cottage is in a great location and is walkable to the local shops, restaurants, and tourist sites. The house is cute, comfortable, and large enough for three couples. We would book it again.
