Southwood Shores 71-1D - Newly Renovated Condo, Perfect for Couples!

The perfect place to spend a relaxing weekend! Enjoy this 1 bedroom, 1 bath waterfront condo at Southwood Shores off Horseshoe Bend Parkway in Lake Ozark.

Bedroom features a King bed, flat screen streaming TV and a ceiling fan. Bathroom in the hall way services the bedroom and any guests. Large open kitchen features a view of the water and has everything you will need to fix your own meals. The breakfast bar accommodates 4 people comfortably. There is a stack washer and dryer located off the kitchen. The living room includes the Queen sofa sleeper for those extra kiddos or other couple making this unit sleep up to 4, 55" flat screen Smart TV, wireless internet and deck access. Once outside, you still have a great view of the lake, dining for 4 plus extra chairs, deck fan and electric grill. Take a short walk down to the point pool, or enjoy the hot tub and indoor pool in the club house!

Please be aware that this condo does have 4 steps up, followed by 32 steps down to get to the entrance of the condo.

Southwood Shores is located conveniently near many restaurants, the historical Bagnell Dam strip, shopping, golf, mini golf, arcades, parasailing, go carts and more!

Our oldest son, wife and 2 teenage boys stayed. We own unit on top level and needed extra room over the holiday. Bottom unit is very nice to have close to boat.

Great location. Had read some of the reviews prior so knew there were quite a few stairs to get down to the unit. Pool was clean. I had also read a review from last year about the bedding being dirty. Unfortunately, our bedding was also dirty. Random hairs. Mattress pad on the pull out

Total Steps

The condo was very nice, once we were in it. It was spacious and clean. However, we were told that there were 2 steps up and 16 steps down from the parking lot to the door of the condo. There were TWO sets of two steps up and 16 steps down. A total of 36 steps from the parking lot to the condo door. The reason I asked is because I have knee problems and if I knew there were 36 steps, we would not have booked this unit. It was quite a challenge.

Southwood 1D

Loved the place, quiet area with good lake access. You need to inform future guests of the 44 stairs they have to face. Kinda hard for older folks like us. There also was NO can opener in the unit. Had to make some meal adjustments but it all worked out. We will definitely be back.

We loved this place! Convenient with a nice dock for our boat and pool that overlooked the lake. The only negative I can give is the king size mattress was not great. Will be doctoring my neck and back tonight. The other suggestion I would have is to put a small trash an in each bathroom as this is necessary👍

Short Stay

The check in process was easy and all information was given to us ahead of time. However, upon arrival there was evident dust in the condo and a dead spider with spider webs in the shower. The shower also had very little water pressure. The kitchen was missing utensils which made it hard to cook in. The bedding had a stain on it which was covered by a throw blanket and the sheets were filthy. There was hair and crumbs at the foot of the bed under the comforter. The dryer also does not work either. Overall the stay was fine for my boyfriend and I as we had 3 other condos to go to for necessary items. This place is fine if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and shower, but it could have been cleaner.

Stay in the Ozarsk

The property was very well maintained. The condo was excellent. The only problem I encountered was I did not know they had steps up and down and carrying luggage, coolers, etc. was a little difficult, but I managed. I will stay there again someday.

Amazing!!

This property was BEAUTIFUL! the scenery was just breathtaking being so close to the lake was so convenient! We had an amazing time and would deff go back again! I would recommend 10/10 ! The pool selection awsome! Location is so close to everything also!

Nice Condo

We needed a comfortable place to stay with a kitchen and a pool, and this place hit the spot. Plenty of room for our group of 2 adults and 1 child. Excellent communication for check in. This condo is on the base level, so you must go down stairs to reach it. It has a nice small outdoor patio. If you have a boat it’s right on the level to the boat slips in their marina. It’s in easy driving distance to anything you need or want to do in town.

Incredible spot

Incredibly clean and well managed condo. The on site indoor pool and hot tubs were inop during our stay. However, still awesome location, and the neighborhood was well mannered and clean! Will absolutely book here again!

Great condi

Had a great stay in the lake condo. Even though we were there on a holiday weekend, it didn’t seem too crowded and it was clean and quiet. Really enjoyed the porch overlooking the boat docks. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking and location was wonderful. Really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect spot for a long weekend

The condo was great! Clean and even stocked with some basic items for the pool, tennis, basketball, cooking. It was very comfy and perfect for two people.

Great Getaway Place

Nicely remodeled and perfect for our long weekend getaway! Short drive to nearby restaurants & other attractions and we also enjoyed grilling and dining on the deck that was right along the water. Everything was clean & in working order. Owner communicated everything we needed to know in advance for access to property and check-out procedures. Would highly recommend!
