This cabin is located just minutes from downtown Bryson City. This is the perfect getaway for a couples retreat, small family or you can rent multiple units for larger groups. There are four one bedroom cabins within walking distance to each other and one, two bedroom farm house.

Beautifully decorated and packed with modern conveniences, this petite retreat makes the perfect home-away-from-home for your next Smoky Mountain Getaway. Tucked inside a private mountain alcove, you can spend your evenings outside roasting marshmallows around the firepit.

Comfortable outdoor living spaces with mountain views. Retreat indoors to discover that tiny doesn’t mean sacrificing quality. Guests can expect solid heart-pine floors, vaulted ceilings. A fully equipped kitchen give guests an ‘at home’ feeling. Enjoy your favorite movie on one of two flat screen Smart TVs.

Before you pack up the car and head for the mountains, know that when we say mountains, we really mean it!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of our cabins will have a higher elevation than this. This means that our roads- both state and private- will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!

Here at Yellow Rose, your safety is our priority. If a cabin requires 4 wheel, front wheel, or all wheel drive to access it, it will be listed in the description. If bringing or riding motorcycles, please call and ask for motorcycle friendly properties. If you have any concerns about accessing your rental, please call prior to your arrival and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

This cute clean cabin is centrally located to so many activities. The view is great and the cabin and fire pit has privacy. We will definitely be back. The Turkey welcoming committee is awesome.

Wonderful little getaway cabin with grocery nearby, a fire pit for smores, and the sound of a running stream. The four of us stayed in the cabin two teens 13/18 and two parents. It was snug but comfortable and we watched Netflix documentaries when it rained at night after whitewater rafting during the day. Perfect!

We watched Netflix, cooked smores by the fire with supplies bought from Ingles just down the road, and explored the area including a white water rafting trip from the NOC just 15-20 mins away. Delightful time and great location for Bryson City and beyond while feeling like being far away in nature.

Very peaceful back porch with stream behind the fire pit area and shrubs between cabins for privacy. Plenty of linens and towels provided. Cabin was a five minute drive from town and very close to a grocery store so it made getting around town very easy. We would definitely stay at this cabin again. Great customer service from yellow rose as well very easy to get ahold of and helpful.

Great view.

I loved the location of this small cabin. Although, we stayed for five days and the trashcan outside was full the whole time. Spoke to the property manager/host and was told it would be picked up, but it never was. The dishes were put up dirty, so I had to wash them before I used any. A lot of stuff was broken and had to be adjusted until It worked. That aside the view was amazing of the mountains and the sound of the running creek outside was most relaxing.

Great view--needs attention

Cozy little cabin that needed a curtain on door (several previous guests had also mentioned this), TV did not work the entire time, coffee maker was broken, and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Other than that, great stay.

Very cozy cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very cozy cabin/tiny house! It was very clean and had all we needed. There were only a couple of things to mention: needs curtains or blinds on the front door and the blinds didn’t cover the window (on the inside near the door). We had to put a towel up on the side of the window and a blanket from the sofa to cover the window on the door. Also, the parking spot could’ve been a little deeper for our truck to pull in. The rock could’ve been pulled back some...there is also poison ivy on the bush where you get out of the passenger door at parking spot. These are not major issues, so we don’t really have complaints. We may get back there to visit one day. Loved the price, too! Very affordabl! Thank you! Thanks for having this sweet cabin available! The Wells’

My wife and I really enjoyed campfires at night and using the grill and the view was spectacular. The location was so convenient close to downtown but felt like a cabin deep in the woods with the Smoky mountains park close also and having Ingles grocery nearby.

Smoky Mountain Adventure

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great three nights in Maple Cabin 3, using it as a launch point for several days of hiking and exploring in GSMNP. The cabin location is a little tricky to find the first time, but close to town, almost next door to an Ingles grocery store, and just 15-20 minutes from Cherokee and the park entrance. The four units are spaced to provide ample privacy, and having an outdoor porch and fire pit seating alongside a babbling brook added a nice touch. I was with a buddy, but after spending three nights here, I want to return and bring my wife next time, who is not a camper, but would love this little unit. New, clean, roomy shower, coffee maker and stove/microwave, plus a queen and bunkbeads - hard to beat this. The only complaint we have is that the streaming of a live sports event was unwatchable because of the slow service - constant buffering. But regular streaming was fine, and we weren't there to watch TV, just that one particular game. But they warn you about that slow service in the marketing materials provided - they were right!We will definitely return to GSMNP, and staying in these cabins on the Bryson City side is SO much better than staying in Gatlinburg. Very convenient to the park and only 2.5 hours back to Atlanta! Great spot.

Overall great!

Great place for the price. Honestly the only complaint is that the cabin does not maintain heat that well. Honestly not that big of a deal. It was overall a pleasant experience.

Wonderful tiny cabin

Overall this was a perfect getaway for us! Two adults, wondering what the “tiny house” lifestyle is all about. The cabin is beautiful, lots of windows and natural light, lovely tall ceilings, and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed exploring Bryson City, and loved the 30 minute drive into the Smokies. We have already started planning a return trip, this time encouraging friends to come along and rent the cabin next door! All linens were provided, plenty of cleaning supplies, and kitchen was equipped decently (could use a cutting board though). One kitchen gripe: preground coffee is provided, but the only machine is a single serve keurig with no reusable filter cup. So no way to use the provided coffee. They did provide 2 K-cups, but we were there two mornings so that wouldn’t have gone very far for 2 coffee-loving adults. Thankfully we brought our own instant coffee. As mentioned in a previous review- the mattresses are VERY FIRM. My husband and I enjoyed it as we like a firm mattress. If you don’t like a firm mattress… you will probably be uncomfortable. We also ended up unplugging the TV at night because it kept turning itself on.

The cabin had a great view of the mountains, it was very quiet on the mountain and peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit for s’mores and sitting outside eating breakfast in the morning. For future it would be great for a little more storage, only had one table to store things and then we couldn’t use the table to eat. Also a tv in the bedroom would be nice and mats for the bathroom floor. But everything else just just as expected.
