Make your way through the front door and into our modern-designed vacation home. Step up onto the entry porch and into the house via the keyless electronic lock and be greeted with vastly high ceilings and generously sized rooms designed and styled with your comfort in mind.

LIVING AREA – 1St FLOOR
The living area comfortably seats six guests with the large 50" wall-mounted SmartTV with access to all your favorite streaming apps - the perfect cozy place for a movie night.

KITCHEN & DINING – 1ST FLOOR
Cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the fully stocked eat-in kitchen with all the gadgets, trays, dishes, and utensils you would expect to find in a family home. All appliances are stainless steel. There is a full-size fridge/freezer, electric range, microwave, coffee maker, and dishwasher to clean up all the cleaning!

Serve up your meals at the kitchen table or gather everyone into the elegant dining room for dinner with a table set for 6 with additional seating on the kitchen island. Enjoy your morning coffee or watch the chef cook your favorite meal at our kitchen island for 4.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS - 2ND FLOOR
All three bedrooms within the spacious home can be found on the second floor. Each bed is topped with soft, premium linens and bedding, and you'll find plenty of storage to unpack and make yourself home.

The bedrooms offer comfy queen beds, plenty of light, and stylish and comfortable finishes. Two bedrooms have attached full ensuite bathrooms with plenty of fresh towels and necessities.

As you walk up the stairs, to the left is Bedroom #1, offering a spacious room and a 40" SmartTV.

Stepping down onto a landing and to the right, you will find Bedroom #2 with an attached bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Near the corner is an oversized primary bedroom offering two queen beds with an attached full ensuite bathroom walk-in shower.

LAUNDRY
A full-size washer and dryer between the Primary bedroom and hallway is conveniently located near all bedrooms. ABODEbucks provide our guests with detergent and dryer sheets for making vacation laundry a breeze.

OUTDOOR
This historic and unique carriage house offers a shared outdoor courtyard space perfect for morning coffee or relaxing on summer nights. Available parking for two vehicles at the main entrance of the home.

The Neighborhood:
Soulard is the lively spot of St. Louis, loaded with great food and great bars. The area is busy every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and during any home or important away games!

McGurk's draws a crowd every night of the week. Molly's and 1860s have great live music! The Great Grizzly (across the street from the front of our building) is one of the oldest bars in St. Louis and offers free shuttles to and from all home games. Dukes which is across the street (behind our building) has become one of the most popular bars in Soulard!

Visitors can enjoy an endless section of entertainment in the Soulard district year-round, including craft beer at International Tap House, oysters, and crawfish on the beautifully-landscaped patio at Molly’s in Soulard, homemade cupcakes at Sweet Divine, Irish stew at McGurk’s, and blueberry-flavored margaritas at Chavas Mexican Restaurant.

Take part in Pub Crawls that are held throughout the neighborhood and on the music front, Soulard offers some of the city’s best jazz, blues, folk, and rock music options.

With over thirty bars, restaurants, and quirky shops that are scattered throughout the narrow tree-lined streets, every one of them has an elaborate outdoor courtyard, patio, or sidewalk area from which to enjoy the beautiful historic scenery.

For history buffs, the area plays host to the city’s oldest church and the oldest building and for the brave, there are several haunted houses, including The Darkness, located near the former Welsh Baby Carriage factory.

Some must-visit award-winning restaurants and cafes within Soulard are Bogart’s Smokehouse for America's Best Ribs, the Capitalist Pig BBQ, John D. McGurk’s Irish Pub, and Sidney Street Café.

When visiting in January the area plays host to the third-largest Mardi Gras Festival in the world and include loads of entertainment including the Family Carnival, Snow Ball Softball Tournament, Wine & Whiskey Tasting, Cajun Cook-off, Taste of Soulard, pub crawls, and of course, the main event, Grand Parade Day!

Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by car with most highways conveniently nearby. You can also use the Metro link light rail system to get to many major attractions. Metro's efficient light rail system offers stops throughout the city.

St. Louis also has both UBER and Lyft available. You'll also see lots of Lime and Bird electric scooters throughout the city, so you can zoom wherever you'd like!

PRIVACY-SAFE NOISE MONITORING
This home is equipped with NoiseAware monitoring devices that alert us if noise levels increase over reasonable levels. This allows us to reach out and request that levels are reduced to reasonable levels. To protect your privacy, the monitors do not record audio.

GUEST VERIFICATION
SafelyStay, Inc., verifies the identity of guests and checks criminal databases in order to confirm reservations. A form will be completed as part of this process.

TRUST & SAFETY
The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury.

The Trust & Safety Fee allows the security deposit to be waived while protecting you, your group, and the property should an accident happen. The $78 fee is collected at the time of payment and may be labeled as “Trust & Safety Fee” or “Management Fee”.

✔ No additional guests - If more guests are expected, please add them to the reservation
✔ No Parties - If the guests exceed the number stated in your reservation, it will be considered a party
✔ Quiet time is 10pm - 9am (including weekends). The neighbors are proud of their quiet, peaceful neighborhood and we ask our guests to be respectful. Please keep voices and music down during quiet hours.
✔ Outdoor areas off-limits after 10pm
✔ Nothing can be taped, pinned, or attached to walls, ceilings, or hung from the lighting fixtures. Absolutely no glitter or confetti.

Me and my family spent Christmas here and it was great the only thing was the walkway that you had to go through through the alley but once you step through the doors that are secure it's beautiful the inside was nice and good everything was good.

Wonderful weekend in Soulard

Three couples enjoyed this spacious and clean home. Beds were very comfy, everything was clean, well equipped and ready to go for us. Enjoyed morning walks around Soulard, the farmer’s market and hanging out at many of the area restaurant patios, especially Molly’s. Beautiful area. Would recommend and stay again if in the area. We did accidentally lock ourselves out and they were right on top of getting us back into the unit.

Fantastic Customer Service and Comfortable Home in a Great Location

Me and my siblings came into Soulard for the Billy Joel concert. The home was in a great location as we were able to walk everywhere for food and entertainment. The home was large, clean, and inviting. Loved the private courtyard. Even with the alley location, felt very safe and secure as it was well-lit and well-maintained. Customer service with Adobebucks was exceptional and they helped us stay two extra nights for an affordable fee (since the concert was postponed due to weather). Highly recommend if you are looking for a fun spot to explore Soulard and the surrounding areas.

Townhouse in Soulard

Very nice and clean on the inside, with modern amenities. The only issue we had with the inside was the hideaway/sliding doors to the bathrooms. They wouldn't lock and the upstairs one left a gap and wouldn't shut all the way. The only issue we had with the outside was getting the keypad to the outer gate to unlock. The code was right but the deadbolt would only slide about halfway. We had to really jiggle the door to get it to open. No other issues. Parking in the alley right behind the building was nice because we didnt have to compete for parking. This building is in a good location with restaurants within walking distance. I didn't feel unsafe at any point. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely interior and cozy spot

We had a good experience at the Soulard Carriage House. While it doesn't look like much on the outside, the interior is clean, cute, and proved spacious for our group. We did have problems with the codes to access the property, as well as the internet cutting out during one of our meetings. Additionally, be aware that the freeway runs very close, so it can be noisy (although we realized over time that we simply tuned it out).

Exactly What We Needed

Per the last review, yes there was a homeless couple camped outside the building. They were harmless, but did stop us to talk on more than one occasion. The city should really try to do something about that. We were on a business trip so really only needed a place to get ready for our sessions and to sleep. there were 7 of us girls and my husband staying there. The vrbo was very clean and well set up. It was nice having multiple bathrooms. We had everything we needed during our stay. Check in and checkout were simple. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful. There are some great restaurants within walking distance or a short Uber ride away. Thankful for our stay here!

Keep Looking

The property pictures are very misleading. The entrance to this property is directly in front of a homeless camp. To reach the front door, you must go thru a dark corridor that is sketchy and uncomfortable. Our "free parking" spaces were occupied by the homeless, our pass code didn't work, property management wasn't helpful and the unit could have been cleaner. There is more wear on the property than the pictures show. The Soulard area is a YES but this unit is a NO.

Great Vacation House with Private Parking

House was clean and cool and ready for us when we arrived. Checkin was easy. Electronic locks worked well. We had an issue one day with a lock, but it was resolved within 10 minutes! The house has private parking. Hard to find in a lot of nearby areas. Lots of shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. Great location. Oh, and this place has a yard that my son and I could throw the football in. Fantastic spot overall. We cooked a few morning meals and had everything we needed. Great spot for our family of 5 to come to STL and catch a bunch of Cards games and enjoy the zoo and other STL favorites. Checkout was pretty painless. Nothing crazy - just strip the beds and pile up your towels. Very easy. I’d stay with this property owner again without hesitation.

Great place to stay in a cool hood

The building was great. It was a little tricky finding the entrance even with the instructions, but once you see it you see it. Everything was clean. Though there weren't any paper towels in the house so we had to buy them ourselves. Neighborhood has a lot to offer and is very walkable, which is great if you're not driving, or don't want to. Spealking of cars, the neighbor did come over and scold us. Despite the listing saying there was room for two cars to park, the neighbor said "This is an alley, not a parking place." then threatened to back into our car. To quote them: "If we back up, we back up. Just saying." So that was cool. To be fair we did have three cars there temporarily. We moved the other to the street which was easy enough, though their issue seemed to be with the fact that it was being used as a rental.
