Hidden away on a lush 1-acre property located near the heart of Yeppoon, Hughes Hideaway is a beautiful tropical retreat where you can truly escape but still only a stones throw to Yeppoon’s main attractions. Located 5 minutes to the Yeppoon Lagoon, Main Beach, Cinema and an array of local shops, cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets.

Our cottage is welcoming, comfortable and fully air-conditioned. Spend some time exploring our Capricorn Coast or while away the hours or stay put and enjoy our peaceful tropical gardens. Stroll into town for dinner and drinks or get cosy at night as you relax around our firepit enjoying the stars, firewood and marshmallows supplied. Sleep like a baby in our top of the range beds. Take the ferry from Rosslyn Bay to enjoy the stunning Keppel Islands or head North to Byfield National Park. Rockhampton is an easy 30 minutes' drive.

Hughes Hideaway is a peaceful retreat and is not suitable for parties or large groups. We would love to answer any questions that you have and help in any way that we can, we want to make your stay exceptional!

Please mention your pets when booking.

We welcome well behaved pets but Please note our property is not fully fenced. There is a fence around two sides and bush and a creek bed around the other two. There’s only one way into the property and we are set back 20 metres from the road.

If your pet is an inside pet then please respect our rule of no pets on the beds or furniture. Also no pets to be left inside the house without a human present.

Note there are security cameras overlooking the driveway/parking area and back of the house only . This is for the security of the property.
