Hi there, we're a local Byron Shire family who love connecting with nature, which is why we live in this natural paradise. We have created a healthy, organic, self-sustainable small community on this beautiful 7 acre farm-let that we're blessed enough to call home.
As previous world travelers' we love welcoming people onto this land to enjoy the peace it brings.
We enjoy eco-friendly living and educating children and adults to become more empowered.
We live in the house near the cabin, but if we are not home during your stay, we will let you know and only be a phone call away.
We respect our guests privacy and you can check in and check out without us, but we and are also happy to meet and greet you, say hello and give you any local information.
Whilst others share this land it is very quiet and you don't often meet anyone.

We love our hinterland property because it's away from the hussle and bussle and there's so much magnificent nature to be found here.
The Byron Shire Hinterland is a natural paradise where you can enjoy stunning beaches, gorgeous rivers, rainforest bushwalks, cool waterfalls, buzzing Byron, chilled Brunswick Heads, the colourful markets, and the many funky cafes.
Things to do: bush or beach walk, cycle, swim, surf, play tennis, golf, paddle board, go ballooning or skydiving, bushwalk, kayak, go whale watching, go scooting or skating, visit a festival, the markets, the local pubs or funky scene in Byron.
There's a bit of everything wonderful here.

What makes Birdsong unique is that it's a low priced, attractive cottage on a peaceful organic property, with a red Swiss style cabin roof surrounded by nature. There's birdsong, creeksong and a night sky full of stars. It has everything you need for a comfy stay - A Nespresso coffee machine, fully equipped kitchenette and fast Starlink internet. And it's only 12 minutes from the beach.
