BANNABY FARM COTTAGE is a gorgeous country hide-away on the Great Dividing Range, 16km east of the historic township of Taralga. It’s about 2 ½ hours south-west of Sydney, via Goulburn.
This is a place to relax and contemplate the good things in life … to enjoy the company of family and friends, a thousand miles from care.
Read a book in front of the slow combustion fire, sleep in, take a long bath, drift off into a blissful afternoon nap, enjoy evening drinks on the deck, go for long walks, indulge in fine foods, immerse yourself in the history.
For the adventurous and energetic, there’s bushwalks through forests of stringybarks and bike rides along meandering backroads or more challenging dirt tracks.
Whatever way you choose to unwind, BANNABY FARM COTTAGE is truly is an unforgettable getaway.

Wonderful farm based cottage

The cottage was lovely. It is very nicely furnished and maintained. You are surrounded by beautiful landscapes, and isn't too far from the surrounding towns.

Had a wonderful stay at Bannaby Cottage. The cottage was well equipped with everything and the surrounding land to explore with out lab was beautiful. Highly recommend and will be back.

Beautiful property

We had a great long weekend with our dog at this property. It’s a great mix of old and new with all the modern comforts. We had a great time walking around the property. The creek through the property is stunning. Would definitely come back again.

Beautiful retreat

Loved our stay here! Far enough from town to feel properly away from everything, and close enough to pop in for a coffee or dinner. We loved the deck looking out over the farmlands and walking down by the crystal clear creek. Thanks Hamish!

Weekend getaway

Property better than advertised. Highly recommend “The Cottage”. Lovely country aspect, warming slow combustion fire place and all the other modern conveniences you require for a getaway. Our dogs had a great time running in the paddock & splashing in the creek.

Stunning home

We loved the Cottage! The house was super cosy and well equipped. It has been restored beautifully and still had all the comforts we needed. The host was kind and very informative they responded quickly to our messages. The fresh air was magnificent and the view gorgeous. Our boys enjoyed the open space and exploring by the creek.

Stargazing Weekend

Very honour to be the first guest of the cottage. The property was very easy to find either by GPS on your phone or the instruction from the owner. The location was very secluded and quiet if you prefer nothing gets in your way. the only sound are wind, birds and sheep. Starlinks Wifi setup is great no trouble in getting the internet. The property is huge spotless clean with some very nice antique furniture. cozy and comfy. and bed setup with fresh sheets and electronic blanket if you do feel the chill at night. cooking is easy with gas cooking and plenty of kitchen supplies. what a wonderful stay and did I mention you will see the millions of stars when the night settles. something to dont get to see in the city. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house. we will sure be back!
