Was a great weekend away! The neighbors were great and short walk to the beach. Dover was close so got tour their little town. House was clean and beds were comfy.

old but sweet retreat

Peter was a wonderful host, communicated well and was on the ball with everything. Place was nice and clean for us when we arrived and he left us a sweet note and flowers for our stay. Very close to beach, nice amount of property for kids to play.

Great communication! Cottage is fine

Peter is great to deal with - very good communications. The cottage itself is fine. It's not updated, so don't expect anything with all the bells and whistles. We rented it for family to stay at, as we live just down the road. They didn't spend much time at the cottage, so it fit our needs.

Excellent weekend, great cottage

Arrived to a very clean, well kept cottage. On every level, even over than I thought it would be. Location is 10/10, right by the beach and close to our destination of Toronto Motorsport park. Will definitely go back next year. The host was personal and prompt to reply to any questions. Super good!

Summer Vacation

We had a wonderful time here. The place was stocked well with every day supplies and dishes, and inside and outside furniture. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a short walk to the beach and the water was beautiful. There was also lots of room on the property for outdoor activities and lounging around. Nearly everyone was friendly and it was an easy drive from Hamilton. .

Fun getaway with friends!

It was an absolute pleasure staying in Peter's cottage. He communicated with us really effectively and made sure that we enjoyed ourselves; very friendly and straightforward if you have any questions. Cottage was very clean and ready for us when we arrived, had no issues whatsoever. Location was perfect distance of the beach and didn't have any issues with the neighbors. It is a lovely quiet area. Great Value for a lovely stay!

We stayed as a family of 5 adults over the Canada Day weekend. Peter, the host, is very friendly and worked hard to ensure we had a great stay. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. You’re close to the water and it’s very quiet. A menu for the Sunflower Diner was left for us and we made our way for breakfast Saturday morning. It was a rainy wet day, so we spent the afternoon playing Catan and visiting/napping. Sunday night we headed over to the race track after a day of scoping out the beach. There is lots to do in the area, I highly recommend it. Our departure was so simple as it was really just some food and clothes. We really enjoyed the beautiful views, the songs of the birds, and the occasional sighting of a mama duck with ducklings. There is lots of seating outside, we enjoyed the back deck during the day and the front for morning coffee. While the old folks took to bed, the younger folks enjoyed a campfire and roasted marshmallows. Highly recommend this cute cottage on Lake Erie!

We had the most amazing time staying at this awesome 3rd-floor penthouse! My two friends were in from Vegas, and I live locally in Costa Mesa. The penthouse was perfect—spacious, clean, and with stunning views of the Pacific. I slept in the living room on the surprisingly comfy Murphy bed, with the sliders open to hear the waves at night. Pure bliss!We were greeted with a lovely bottle of wine and a variety of drinks to enjoy. The kitchen was fully stocked, and I had brought snacks, drinks, and food to grill—the BBQ worked great. We followed the hosts’ excellent recommendations and visited nearby coffee shops, and had a delicious dinner at Fisherman’s, dining outside under heat lamps with waves crashing below.We took full advantage of the beach, pier, and walking trails. The hosts thought of everything—beach towels, chairs, coolers, boogie boards, sunscreen, water—you name it, they had it. They also checked in by text to make sure everything was going smoothly. Total Super Hosts!Saturday night we explored the main strip—lively and full of music and people. Don’t miss The Lost Inferno, a fun Goonies-inspired tiki bar on El Camino Real. Sunday’s street market was a perfect way to end the weekend. We had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back!

Absoluut geen positieve ervaring!

Wij wilden niet in het huis zelf verblijven en hebben zoveel mogelijk in de tuin doorgebracht. Dit huis is echt ranzig en ontzettend slecht onderhouden. Een aanfluiting! De bedden maken herrie, deuren en ramen sloten niet tot niet goed, de algehele staat van het huis is ronduit slecht. Houd je van mooie natuur en vind je goede wifi en een mega tv belangrijk en kan de rest je niet zoveel schelen? Dan kun je hier prima verblijven.

Great little weekend getaway!

Peter was extremely attentive and welcoming from the get-go, and the cottage is exactly as described in the listing. It's very homey, and has all the basics plus a great bbq grill that we really enjoyed using! The beach was just a few steps away, and we spent all day soaking up the sun there. Thanks Peter!
