Cosy cottage in an extremely quiet location, with only the sound of birds to hear. Unrestricted views to the Southern Alps, surrounded by lovely gardens, with the potential visit of an alpaca or llama. Antique furniture to make you feel completely at home. We also have an outside bathtub to soak up the peace and quiet, and ease your weary bones. The cottage is only 35 kilometres from Christchurch International Airport and 35 minutes to the ski slopes. Christchurch city is also only 30 minutes drive by car, and the small town of Darfield is 7 minutes away by car. There are a multitude of country roads and walking tracks in the area for hiking and biking. The views from the rooms and the deck are fabulous at any time of year - you can overlook the garden into the alps in the near distance - they have different moods at different times and in different seasons.
