This was the second time we have stayed at The Shady Cottage. Once again everything met our expectations. The home was cozy and inviting, with flowers and freshly baked cookies meeting us as we entered the door. Communication with the host was excellent. We would definitely suggest this home to any of our friends traveling that direction.

The house was welcoming, comfortable and a wonderful place to stay for the 9 days we were there. The host was helpful and accommodating and pleasant to work with. It was in an area close to grocery shopping, eateries and was convenient to the sites in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend to others and return if we were in the area.

Ideal location for our family visiting for the holidays. This was our second stay. It was very clean with nice touches like water and snacks. Internet functioned well. Play space was great for the little ones. First floor "owner's suite" was an ideal sanctuary for a little more peace and quiet when needed.
