ND Football Weekend

Fabulous location for our large family to stay for a football weekend. Seriously cannot beat proximity to campus. The number of bathrooms was a big plus. Sam is easy to work with — responsive to inquiries. Overall very positive experience!

Great location near Notre Dame

Great location and nice property, close to ND campus and lots of shopping and restaurants. Only complaint - it appeared as though the cleaning person did not sweep, vacuum or mop as evidenced by food particles under the table, in couch cushions, and paper and lint on carpet. Showers and bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

Awesome Home!

Great time at the Notre Dame home. We had a wedding at ND followed by a reception in the stadium. The home was so close to the campus that we could have walked there. The home was so big and spacious. Sam checked in several times to see if we got there ok and if we needed anything. Made our welcome to South Bend so much more relaxing. Thank you Sam. Dave R

Great location but in poor state/needs repair

There is no doubt that this location is prime, but this rental was not well maintained. There was water damage and peeling drywall in the main floor bathroom, broken appliances, broken furniture, and the townhouse was unclean. The master bathroom had lamps that were broken, bathrooms had clearly not been cleaned prior to our arrival, significant water damage in the main floor half bath, the downstairs fridge was broken, walls and moulding were dirty or damaged, and grill had clearly not been cleaned in some time. Floors were significantly worn. This house has a convenient location but is beat up and unclean. Given the price, would expect a cleaner and more maintained property.

Family Gathering Space

The property is spacious and in very close proximity to Notre Dame. I like that it has four bedroom and 4.5 baths. It has lots of space to gather between the open kitchen/dining area, the screened-in porch, outdoor balcony, the entertainment basement with a walk-out to a covered patio. The house was well-stocked. The beds were comfortable. Overall, it was an OK experience - what made it not great: the instructions to enter the house did not match reality. The listing featured a fire pit on the walk-out cover patio (one of the main reasons we chose this place) - when we arrived we saw a bundle of firewood in the garage, only to find no firepit and no outdoor seating (just one very dirty chair on the cover patio and a few metal chairs on the top balcony (one had bent legs and was not usable). Upon reaching out to the host, was informed that they were not aware of what was on the listing and firepits were not allowed. I asked for seating for the patio, which was delivered and set up while we were at dinner - thank you. The kitchen and dining areas were challenging. Microwave had a broken handle, the sectional is too large for the space. The large dining table seats eight, but much too large for the space and only had six chairs. The dining chairs were significantly too low for the table. The bar stools at the island too high. It just was not comfortable. Basement was great.

First of all, the location cannot be beat and we would definitely stay here again. But there are definitely a few things (some furniture, flooring, downstairs bath) that show their age. If you're looking for newly renovated, this might not be for you - you're clearly paying for the location here. But we were comfortable and loved being able to walk to campus!

Nice rental

Very spacious and conveniently located. We were able to fit our crew of 12 in nicely. Garage and driveway accommodated 4 cars. The 2nd refridgerator downstairs was a plus to hold all the food and drinks

Great location for downtown and Notre Dame

Everything was great clean and easy check in . Plenty of room and very pleasant neighborhood. We stayed here for a wedding and it was great to have 4.5 bathrooms to get ready on time! Thank you.

Nice home in a great location

I was concerned with the house being a townhouse as I was not sur of the noise levels we might experience. During our stay we did not hear anything other than why a from our unit, The house was spacious enough for our group and enjoyed spending time in the deck and game room. We loved being so close to Notre Dame and took long morning walks on campus each morning. The house is within walking distance to a supermarket, numerous restaurants and fast food stops.

can't beat the location!

very close to campus, had three couples and two kids for a lacrosse weekend, everything as described. Quiet neighborhood (during non football weekend!) Some upgrades with lighting, bedding, towels would be nice given the price point but plenty of room to spread out - loved that all three upper bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.

Wonderful home. Plenty of room. The house was perfect for 13 of us . Kitchen fully stocked with supplies to make meals. Great location. Looking forward to renting again in the future. Manager responds quickly to questions and was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Just what we needed.

The four bedrooms and four full baths were perfect when it came time to get ready for a family wedding. The lower level and the enclosed room off the deck on the main floor were perfect places for the children to play. Appliances were all large and worked perfectly. Glad we discovered this rental.

Condo for week long kids’ tournament

3 Moms & 3 kids...the condo was perfect! Full kitchen, deck, cozy sectional, bathrooms for everyone, washer & dryer. What more could we need!? The location was great for an event on campus. The complex is very nice as well as the immediately surrounding areas. We went for walks and sat outside every day. Sam was an easy host to work with. We will return!

Great house

We spent Easter weekend here visiting with my son who attends Notre Dame. Great gathering place for our group of 9. Everyone enjoyed having their own bathroom! Location is great. We had to drive to the Basilica for services, but only about a 6 min. drive. Very convenient to the "sports side" of campus. Lack of a closet in a few rooms was the only drawback, might want to bring a few over the door hanger holders if you are bringing dress clothes. Wish we could have used the hot tub but I understand the owner has to set limits! We have some sweet family memories from Easter weekend, including egg dyeing, making special Easter rolls, playing games with Grandma and Grandpa, and eating together around the big square table. Thanks Sam!

As a close personal associate of Garrett's Sam is well suited to meet all your Notre Dame centered travel plans. Sam enjoys helping take care of the details of travel so you are freed up to enjoy the experience!

Garrett Busch attended Notre Dame for both his undergrad and MBA. It is there that he met his now wife. The Busch's currently live in Napa with his wife and children. His interests include wine, travel and family.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This properties extremely close proximity to the Notre Dame campus (especially the stadium!) made it an obvious place to live during Garrett's time in school. Now we enjoy the privilege of sharing the property with fellow Notre Dame fans and family. It's combination of many and large lounge areas, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, and huge capacity for hosting family and friends made it easy to keep once Garrett graduated.

This house is far and away one of the best kept, and most luxurious places to host your group in South Bend. You will be hard pressed to find a rental that is closer to campus, or as nice as our house.
