No matter the season, you've chosen the perfect getaway just minutes from Barry's Bay.

Enjoy all-day sun and breathtaking views of Carson Lake from your private beach, hot tub, and throughout the lodge.

Carson Lake is a one of a few private lakes in Ontario with excellent swimming in summer and ice skating in winter! A snowmobiler's paradise with sloped access directly to the lake and nearby trails!

Very cute cottage, we used canoes daily, very relaxing!

The property was very private, clean and welcoming. The host was helpful and we enjoyed the serenity. We wanted a relaxing vacation and that’s exactly what we experienced. I would definitely recommend.

Fabulous Location!

Lovely property, fully equipped with everything one could possibly need for a few days R&R. Brilliant location tucked away, overlooking the beautiful Carson Lake. Contact with the owner Jeremy was exemplary and he couldn’t have been more helpful.

Idealic getaway!

The entire place was as advertised. Everything worked great and we all had a great time. Jeremy was a great host and checked in a couple of times to make sure all was well. We would definitely go again!

Amazing getaway!

The cottage was beautiful & the hosts thought of absolutely everything! From extra blankets to spices & basic baking supplies (even birthday candles!) The kitchen & cottage was well stocked. Very little bugs inside or around the deck & an amazing little beach perfect for dogs & kids to play. 10 min from Barry's Bay for groceries & some delicious fish & chips & 45 min drive to Algonquin trails. 10/10 recommend

Paradise

This was the best-stocked cottage I have ever rented. The kitchen has everything you need including spices and condiments. The lake is beautiful and perfect for canoeing. The swimming access is a very long shallow sandy entry. The hot tub is great and includes screens to keep bugs out. Neighbours are fairly close when you’re at the lakeside but the yard and hot tub are completely private. Host is lovely and responsive. Cottage is spacious and bright with lake views from multiple rooms. We had a truly wonderful time.

Snowmobilers Dream!

Just returned from our visit and the cottage was wonderful! Great layout, clean, fully stocked with everything you need, great view and location. We rented this cottage for the main purpose of snowmobiling, the proximity to the trials could not be better, both lake access and road access. The set up of the cottage is great as well as you can leave your snowmobile gear in the finished basement and exit out the garage and enter the same way, perfect for not crowding the cottage with gear! The beds were super comfortable as well and washrooms were very clean. We rented this cottage in the winter however the view of the Lake tells me this would also be a stellar location in the summer. Jeremy was also very quick to respond and accommodating when it came to answering questions etc. Definitely highly recommend this cottage all year long, any season, you won't regret it!

Great, short stay!

Jeremy's cottage is lovely! Clean, tastefully decorated, with all your basic necessities, and more; we felt right at home during our short stay. The views are absolutely incredible! Pictures do not do this place justice. While there are adjacent cottages, the hedges and trees provide good privacy. The beach is sandy and the lake is clean, although shallow for a long stretch; which was personally great for our dogs and would also be for small children. We enjoyed going out in the canoe and spending time in the covered hot tub, especially when the sun wasn't out. Staring out at the lake from the hot tub was a new experience for us, and it was amazing! There is also a bunkie near the lake which doubles as a muskoka room, we didn't really use this space but could certainly see ourselves doing so if we stayed longer. If you forget anything, Barry's Bay is just a short drive away. As a host, Jeremy was accomodating and attentive, thank you for having us! We would love to come back!

Carson View Lodge is the perfect getaway for small groups and families with young children. The private beach features a gradual entry that let's kids play safely in the water. Snowmobilers love the central location and proximity to nearby trails. Propane heat and AC keeps you cozy during winter and cool during the summer. Wood panelling offers a comforting and relaxing atmostphere to play games, read a book, get some exercise or much needed relaxation.
