Our stay at Orchard Beach was positively refreshing and wonderful. We enjoyed all the special touches including the S'Mores! The place was clean and cozy. The location was perfect. Secluded yet not too far from town. Thank you for a memorable visit in Manistee. We would love to return.

The place was just what we needed. Unfortunately the shower poured out, all over the floor and into the kitchen. Under the beds, couch, and coffee bar was dirty. We found candy, candy wrappers, and old food. Not fun to dig out of little mouths. I would stay again due to location.

My aunt and uncle stayed in this unit specifically because of the handicapped shower and bathroom. His suggestion was that there should be some sort of chair somewhere in the unit. There was no chair anywhere that could be moved from one room to another for my aunt to sit upright in. It wasn't a complaint - just a suggestion:)

Clean & Comfortable

Very responsive property owner. Check in was great, location was close to everything we needed. Property was clean and well maintained. All amenities were accounted for. Glad I downloaded all the check in info I needed beforehand - my cell phone service at the location was really poor, grateful for the WiFi!

Location was great, room was cute. Wifi signal very bad to the point we couldn't even watch a movie. No hot water in the bath sink. Day 2 we realized our door wasn't locking. Was told 45 minutes. 2 hours later a guy comes and says, it's the battery and he doesnt have one but it's ok, they never have had any problems. That was unacceptable. Finally a little over an hour later the owner showed up and fixed it and actually showed us how to use it! She said the directions were all written down in back. Turns out she assumed we were part of a larger party that was all together, and we already knew all this stuff. She was apologetic but that doesn't replace the over 4 hours we were stuck there cause our door wouldn't lock and her assuming we knew. No instructions for wifi or the locks. If you stay here, make sure these items are taken care of first. Im not sure we will stay there again. All that was offered to us was for her to order dinner. Unacceptable.

Small, cute place

This is a small cute place. Too small for 4 adult men but it worked. The bed mattress in the master felt a bit uncomfortable but the price was pretty low too. The renter messaged me multiple times about partys and quiet time before we got there so maybe they have had issues in the past. But I am not used to that. Overall a good experience.

Needs a deep clean

It was spacious and nice having extra room in the bedrooms for suitcases or even a pack n play. It has good storage. However, it seemed as if the cleaning was from the previous renters and someone just came in for linen changes. It desperately needs a deep clean, and some quick fixes to some areas. We could not keep our feet from being completely black just from minimum walking around the condo. There was a q-tip laying on the floor, crumbs all over the kitchen, I found a retainer under a night stand, things were broken but not disclosed, blood on a pillow case, not all sheets/blankets were provided. Dust was collecting in many places. A nice deep clean would make this more enjoyable.

The sofa bed was not working properly. and I would not count on it as sleeping space. Extra bedding would have been helpful as the children slept on the sofa. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The grandchildren loved the hot tub!
