Stay in the best location in the heart of the East Village/Wicker Park
neighborhoods! Located on a quiet tree-lined street, you’ll be only steps to
the cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops that flank trendy Division Street; a
short walk to the vibrant Chicago Ave and Milwaukee Ave restaurant & retail
corridors. Just off the Division Blue Line “L” stop, we’re just a quick train
ride to both the Downtown Loop (8 minutes) and O’Hare International Airport
(35 minutes).
Our home is full of high-end amenities and comforts, including a well-equipped
gourmet kitchen with new black stainless steel appliances, Tempurpedic brand
memory foam mattress and blackout shades in the bedroom for a perfect night’s
sleep, reverse osmosis filtered drinking water, a large library for quiet
nights at home, and a private porch for your own personal use. Both TVs allow
you to use your login to stream your own favorites queue through Amazon, HBO,
Hulu, Netflix, and more.
General Policies:
Guest Age Policy – Guests aged 18-24 may book on an exception basis. Please
include your age, reason for booking, and who will be staying with you in your
inquiry.
Local Guest Policy – Local guests are permitted to book on an exception basis
only. Parties, gatherings, and group events are strictly prohibited.
Unauthorized gatherings or events will result in termination of reservation
without refund.
Primary Guest Responsibility – The booking guest must stay for the full
duration and is responsible for all guests. If booking on behalf of someone
else, please contact us to discuss exceptions.
Parking – Free (non-permit) street parking is limited and not guaranteed.
Parking in the city can be tricky and is not guaranteed. There may be some
street parking available nearby, but please be sure to read all posted signs
before parking anywhere on the street to avoid being ticketed or towed. To
guarantee a spot, you can use a parking app like SpotHero or ParkWhiz to find
and book parking spots ahead of time around the city.
Children - Our home is NOT childproofed and is unfortunately unsuitable for
children.
City Noise – Some ambient noise is part of city living.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties and unregistered guests. Violating
this rule will result in immediate reservation termination, a $100 per
unregistered guest per night penalty, and potential trespassing charges.
Additionally, the City of Chicago may impose further fines on party hosts and
guests. Please take this policy seriously—previous guests who ignored it faced
severe consequences.
**House Rules:**
Please respect our home and neighbors. Violations of ANY of the following
rules may result in fines and/or termination of your reservation without a
refund.
1. No parties or unapproved guests - Only registered guests may access the property. Parties, gatherings, and group events are strictly prohibited.
2. No additional visitors - Only those listed on the reservation may enter the property. Any additional visitors must be declared and pre-approved.
3. Respect quiet hours - Keep noise levels down, especially between 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM. Failure to respect quiet hours or disturbances from an unauthorized gathering will result in termination of the reservation without refund and may result in additional fines to pay city tickets or HOA fines for violations.
4. Check-out on time - Please vacate the unit and return any issued keys by the agreed check-out time. Late check-outs will incur a $250 fee.
5. No smoking - Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside the unit and on the building premises. Evidence of smoking, including odor, will result in a $500 remediation charge. Local laws also prohibit smoking within 15 feet of any entrance.
6. Lockouts & lost keys - A $150 lockout fee applies per occurrence. Lost keys or remotes will incur a $50 replacement fee each.
7. Lost & found - We are not responsible for lost items. If something is left behind, we will attempt to locate it and ship it at your expense. Please check all drawers and closets before departure.
Additional Policies:
* Guest verification - To comply with legal and security requirements, you may need to sign a rental agreement, provide a government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact details, and submit a selfie matching your ID.
* Guest screening - Guests must have a positive track record on the booking platform and provide details about their stay and the guests traveling with them.
* AutoHost verification - We conduct additional screening after booking and reserve the right to decline reservations that do not pass verification.
