Unique private cottage steps from the river

Book yourself a romantic week-end in a stylish and modern guest cottage, located in a quiet family-oriented neighbourhood steps away from river swimming, fishing and great walking trails - 2 min walk! The house is open-concept with a comfortable queen bedroom and a very functional layout and its own private garden. Get fresh eggs from the host's chickens. Downtown Courtenay is a 15 min walk away and the whole Comox Valley, from ocean beaches to golfing and skiing, is within a 20-min drive.

Kick back and relax in our cottage designed by Goldfinch Small Home Design. The indoor space features one queen size bedroom and an open-concept galley kitchen with dining space (seats 4) and a living room. The living room includes a very comfortable pull-out couch and the bathroom features a luxurious tiled rainfall shower. The kitchen is compact but very functional and fully equipped with the usual appliances (induction hotplates, convection toaster oven, coffee maker, etc... ). The unique-shaped windows fill the cottage with natural light.

Outside the glass side door you will find a wrap-around deck that gives onto your own private garden area and a view of the forest. The cottage sits next to our main house and the garden is fully-fenced (we have a big gentle dog) and includes our veggie patch and chicken coop.
