Nice and quiet location for those who are not use to big city living but minutes away from a small town if you need anything. The house had everything we needed and was great that we could take out fur banies too!

Peaceful Place in Godley

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Property was so beautiful and peaceful. The apartment was very clean, warm & welcoming. Beds were comfortable, bathroom and kitchen was well stocked. Property owner was great and readily available.

My friend and I did a girls weekend with our sweet pups and had the most lovely time. This apt was peaceful, delightful, and close to our adventures in Glen Rose. The pups were delighted with Marty the dog and the goats. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful

We don’t get to see all the green at home it’s so dry, so this was a very relaxing and quiet place to stay. Walked around the pond, saw the fish jump and a turtle peeking up out of the water. Sat out on the balcony yesterday listening to nature. Awesome place to spend some time!

Work Trip - Cleburne

My wife and I and our yellow lab spent the week at Steve and Karen's apartment. The beds are comfortable, the space is large enough to not be cramped, yet small enough to be cozy. The balcony was a nice place to sit in the evenings and look out over the lake and fields. The apartment is located about 15 mins from Cleburne, which has everything needed. We cooked in, as we prefer to not dine out much. Having said that, Grumps Burgers is a must for great burgers. The apartment is located on 70+ acres and that makes for quiet evenings and great views. Would stay here again.

Amazing Property with Wonderful Hosts

We had a wonderful stay here. Steve and Karen are wonderful hosts. The property that this apartment is on is beautiful. Unit overlooks a small lake and we saw deer in the morning one morning. The unit itself is also beautiful. Nice finishes and decor, and it was spotless clean. We got to meet Steve as we were departing on our last day. Chatted with him for a good 30 mins. Was like talking with an old friend you haven’t seen in a while. Amazing people and beautiful property. This will be my first choice to stay when we return to the area.

Great Place in and around Johnson County Texas

We needed a place close to the small town of Godley Texas. My daughter and Son in law live in Godley, and we attended my granddaughter's 2nd birthday. The place is ABSOLUTELY spotless!!! Very clean, and comfortable beds and furnishings. It is a garage apartment beside the owners home. The owner Steve was a gracious and welcoming host (Thanks for the homemade cookies!!!!). It sits on 70+ acres with a beautiful pond close by. We spent most of our time at my daughter and son in laws house but would not hesitate to stay here again and explore the property. This place is a gem if your staying in the Cleburne Tx. area, or just want to get away to a quiet place for some "away" time. FIVE Stars all the way!!!

A beautiful time in the country!

We really enjoyed our stay at Selah Prairie! The owners are very sweet and accommodating. We loved the added bonus of the pool in this hot Texas heat and it was very easy to coordinate the use of it with the owners. The property is far enough in the country that you hear all of the nature sounds and see the stars at night but close enough to several cities for some good food and activities! Our only feedback regarding the property is that the property says it can sleep 6 but it would be a tight fit if it is all adults and you are on the heavier side, like us. The living room only has 1 small couch and a few wooden chairs to sit in. We sat down in one of the chairs and the back broke so we didn't want to use the chairs again for the rest of the stay limiting the seating for family movie night. Several people sat on the floor, but we are older now so that hurt our back. The couch cushions are also worn oddly and slant down making you feel as if you are going to fall forward. We flipped them around for our stay, backwards, and it did help a little. Revised seating arrangements would help a lot! Many rentals we have stayed at include condiments, several basic seasonings and cooking/oil spray. The only seasonings are salt, pepper and basil. Onion salt and garlic powder would have been helpful to have. There was no cooking oil/spray. Be sure to bring your own! The kitchen is very well stocked as far as cookie sheets, pots/pans, utensils and plates/cups. Overall, we had a really great time and would 100% stay on the property again! You won't regret your stay!
