Eagle Heights Family Unit : Great pool

Awesome ocean and cliff views from these units.

Eagle Heights Holiday Units are located in Eden on the far south coast of New South Wales. The complex is perched on a cliff-face, known as the Eagles Claw that overlooks Twofold Bay and the ocean. Eagle Heights is situated off the main highway in a quiet residential area. Sit, relax and enjoy the views in our two bedroom villa style units.

Eagle Heights Holiday Complex contains 10 self-contained, two bedroom units. There is a Queen bed in the main bedroom and two singles in the second bedroom. There is a large lounge/dining area, bathroom that includes washing machine and some units have clothes dryers.

There is a separate toilet, flat screen TV, reverse cycle air conditioning, bed linen and personal towel per person, and pillows.

Each unit is supplied with a starter kit of tea, coffee, milk, soap, toilet paper and kitchen detergent on your arrival.

Very relaxing, older units than expected but met our needs, beautiful outdoor and pool area.

Terrible customer service

The unit we were in and the photos available online were deceiving probably not updated from when the unit was new. The frying pan available in the unit needs replacing as it is peeling and anything you cook in there sticks at the bottom and not safe to eat. The internet stopped working a few hours after our arrival and when we reached out to the owner they said they said they will look into it in the morning. Come mid morning, still no internet service and when we called the manager and they were unpleasant on the phone asking us if we can tether to our personal devices instead. We had no internet service for the entire time we where there. I would strongly not recommend this if you have young kids and you need internet. It would have helped if they at least have games/DVDs in the unit. I would suggest for the owners to look into stocking the unit with games/dvds for future guests. Eden itself was a beautiful area, great beaches and restaurants.

Don't be fooled by the online photos

This property was in a convenient and beautiful location, the bed was clean and comfortable and the shower pressure was good. There was a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher and fully equpped kitchen to use. Overall it was a good place to stay, however we were disappointed that there was no bath and a limited view so we felt the advertising was a bit misleading. There were also 2 broken blinds and the managers did not answer the phone when we rang about it. The blind in the bathroom/laundry was broken and this made it difficult to shower at night because there were gaps in the blind and the windows weren't frosted.

Adequate for short stay only

Furnishings cramped and uncomfortable. Lounge too small to lounge in - must sit bolt upright. No good light (decent standing lamp?) for reading in lounge room. No pantry. A set of clear matching wine glasses would be nice as well as some decent knives. Wifi not secure!!! No contigency allowed for, by very late notification of access details or mobile details of owner. What if a mobile network went down? Could do much better. It felt a bit mean.

Amazing location and great apartments

The view from the apartments is amazing! Incredible location and comfortable stay with all the necessary amenities. Would definitely recommend and stay here next time I travel to Eden.

Stunning Views

The Views of the ocean were amazing. I found the view from the dining area adequate and it was a short walk to the edge of the property to enjoy the view even further. However, these are not apartments - they're cabins much like what you would find in a caravan park - thin walls and hollow - thankfully there were no rowdy guests staying at the same time. The flooring creaked and crackled when you walked on it - especially near the toilet area. So beware of waking the rest of the family during the night! We stayed in number 11 and not much has changed from a review I read of this cabin from some time ago - the blinds in the kitchen, bathroom and 2nd bedroom were all very dusty - especially the kitchen - I had to turn them the other way as it was not nice to look at. The doonas are not put into doona/quilt covers - surely this can't be standard practice? They are sandwiched between two flat sheets which I didn't like at all - my son tosses and turns and to then have the doona not covered adequately against his skin was not hygienic. I've not come across this bedding system in other places we've stayed - ever. The bathroom has been renovated and the shower head was fantastic - I hope this area of the cabin is painted really soon because paying school holiday rates for a cabin which is still in the process of being renovated leaves a guest feeling a little hard done by. The down light hole in the bathroom was plugged up with a serviette or a tissue and was not visually unappealing either. Was nice to have Austar for TV viewing and the general cleanliness (other than the blinds) was good. The young lady who checked us in was welcoming and friendly. I'm sorry but I've been as honest as I can and this review is not to run the property down - hopefully the managers will take this constructive criticism on board - clean the blinds more often and finish the painting...and take the time to put the doonas into proper covers... Eagle Heights was recommend to us by friends who stayed last year who enjoyed their stay - I'll be keen to find out from them which cabins they were allocated.

Awesome accomodation,awesome views

Really enjoyed our stay,the best views of whales and dolphins in the bay you will see,nice clean and comfortable apartments,had secure/safe boat parking,won't stay anywhere else in Eden again.

Located on the Headland of Eden, you won't believe our incredible views until you witness them for yourself.
We have all 2 bedroom self contained units, nestled on the cliff top of what us locals call "The Eagles Claw".
With mentioning the Eagles Claw, it is not a rare sight to see the 2x large Sea Eagles that call our cliff home gliding past the complex.
Come enjoy our large solar heated pool, or for the colder months a nice cup of coffee down at the alfresco BBQ area.
I cannot forget to mention during the wale season you cannot miss the opportunity to come and watch the whales playing in the bay.
