Kookaburra Beach House - Pet friendly 3 bedroom

Searching for that coastal tranquillity life? Then look no further than Kookaburra Beach House, located just a short 10 minute walk from the back gate to the pristine waters of Tura Beach.

Our three bedroom home is situated amongst the trees, providing an amazing array of local birdlife. Set back from the road with several outdoor seating areas you will never find your self without a place to kick back and relax.

Enjoy the fully fenced yard to keep the kiddies or even your four legged furry friends safe and secure.

This house has all of life's modern conveniences for you to enjoy and make it your home away from home. Including a large fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and oven. The main living area of the house is just off from the kitchen and is home to a woodfire place, luscious seating and a Smart TV. On this level of the house you will also find 2 bedrooms, the master home to a Queen bed and the second bedroom home to 2x king single beds. The main bathroom provides a walk in shower and large corner bath tub.
An added extra bonus, and my favourite part of this house, is the study/reading nook tucked around the corner from the kitchen. If you feel the need to work while away, this office provides you with the perfect outlook to be creative and productive.

Head downstairs to find the third bedroom which is home to a King sized bed, ceiling fan, external access out onto one of the courtyards and even its own huge en-suite.
Down in the back yard you will find a gate, wonder out this gate and head to your left to find yourself just a short walk from the beach. Finally, with the amazing bike tracks in both Tathra and the new one in Eden there is never a better time to come visit. We have created a large lockable storage area to suit your needs.

A comfortable clean house. It has a lovely bush outlook with plenty of bird life. A well fenced yard for pets with a good grass area down the back.

Amazing, secluded and private despite being surrounded by neighbours. Everything one would need was there. Even the neighbours dog was friendly. The view to the back of the property is stunning and soothing. There is absolutely nothing to complain about. I don't want to praise it too much, otherwise it will be hard to book it again for our next stay!

Nice house in a lovely area

We stayed here when it was raining so didn’t do much beach-going but it was very tranquil sitting in the house and overlooking the rainforest gulley from the kitchen playing board games while it rained.

Happy getaway!

The house was in a lovely location surrounded by bush and wildlife, yet a couple of minutes walk to the beach. We had a great time, with easy access to Merimbula proper and all it has to offer.

Perfect location for a quiet holiday

Kookaburra was the perfect base for our holiday. We had two adults and a dog, and had two further adults come visit for part of our stay mid-way. The property is in excellent condition and comfortably sleeps six, it has a great kitchen and living area, and a number of outdoor areas perfect for dining, barbecuing, reading, sunning, or just enjoying. The bellbirds and kookaburras are magical. The location is a short 5-10 minute walk from the beach and a quick 5 minute drive from shops. We spent most of our time exploring Merimbula but also driving up the coast to Tathra, Bermagui and down to Eden. It is simply a beautiful part of the country. And lastly for dog owners, it is a safe and well-protected location for your dog in terms of garden fencing and gates. Thank you to the team for a great stay.

Clean, spacious, comfortable holiday house

Kookaburra House was perfect for our eight night stay. Clean, comfortable, spacious, attractively decorated and superbly equipped with everything you might need. Loved the wonderful backyard garden (secure for your pups) opening directly onto bushland reserve, marvellous trees full of bellbirds, occasional visits by kangaroos and kookaburras, and just a few minutes walk to the broad, sandy beach. Off street parking for two cars, a couple of minutes drive to supermarket and local shops. Five minutes to central Merimbula. Lots of different zones - covered deck with BBQ, garden fire-pit, dedicated work zone if you need it. Kitchen so well equipped, including (capsule) coffee machine, super large gas oven, and plenty of utensils for any requirement. Pleasure to stay at Kookaburra House.

Stunning property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our two pugs. The property's gardens were stunning and well looked after. As soon as we turned the key we felt at home. The home has a lovely feel to it and every room is well presented with quality furnishings. Loved the prints on the walls. The one at the bottom of the stairs was my favourite. I have a high standard for things being clean (as I work in the industry). Kookaburra didn't disappoint, everything was spotless and well maintained. The well stocked pantry was nice as was the coffee machine, which we loved so much we ran down to Harvey Norman and bought one for ourselves. We needed the break and Kookaburra cottage was all that and more, right down to the beautiful birds singing, the real Kookaburras laughing and the kangaroos casually hopping down the road. The proximity to all beaches was awesome and nearby towns are only a short drive away. Thank you Lisa and Dan for sharing your beautiful part of paradise.

Very convenient to both Merimbula and Pambula and also Eden

Very comfortable. Loved the wood heater. Great location, short walk to beach. Close to supermarket. Lovely outlook onto forest and just loved hearing the bellbirds.

Peaceful and Comfortable

The property was exactly like I thought it would be from the listing. It was well stocked with everything needed (probably could do with a big bowl for salads) and very comfortable. It was a very peaceful area and the fur babies were very happy.

Bright and relaxing stay

We stayed at Kookaburra House in early May for 1 week. House was as seen on the Stayz website. It seemed as though the house was recently renovated / painted etc. Kitchen was amazing! The kitchen was fully equipped, we did not need to purchase anything in the way of cleaning products. I also did some baking while we were there and there was baking trays and a great oven. The Coonara wood fire was great too. It was very cozy in the evenings. We greatly enjoyed our stay and it was lovely to be able to take our dog with us too. Easy to get around in the area.
