Enjoy your south coast holiday situated in this retro, beachfront view holiday house. 'Fishermans Shack' was the 2nd property to be built in this beach side estate!

The space
Experience all 5 senses of the south coast lifestyle at “Fishermans Shack”. Hear the serene sounds of the ocean all day long. See the beautiful aqua water flowing out the entrance. Smell the salty fresh air brush past you and feel the sand touch your feet.

The sun filled verandah has views that stretch across the ocean. Inside, the open plan lounge / dining room have large window that allow both the views and the sunlight to fill the room.

The kitchen features a microwave, oven, grill, kettle & toaster for all cooking requirements. Or if you feel like eating out, indulge in the many local eateries that Burrill Lake, Ulladulla & Mollymook have to offer.

Downstairs is designed for fun! There is a pool table with a score board, a TV & board games for all to enjoy.

The bathroom features a shower, sink & seperate toilet. Or you can make use of the outside shower, located externally next to the garage. Inside the garage / entertaining area provides a seperate toilet, BBQ, washing machine & dryer, fridge & table and chairs.

Walk 1 minute across the road to the the pristine waters of Burrill Lake. Although please be cautious when swimming here as the entrance rips can be dangerous.


If you are looking for kid friendly swimming spot we recommend heading down the lake a little more, or drive 12 minutes to Mollymook Beach or Mollymook Bogey Hole.

Wonderful stay

Such a great spot. Everything supplied. No wifi brings it to the next level. Only suggestion is to invest into some wireless speaker in lunge room.

Awesome serenity!!

A charming cottage that ensures you get the best of nature allowing everyone to reset during their time here. While the children struggled with no wifi, we enjoyed the old charm of this place and the serenity it brings. We will be back!

relaxing, and clean great views fully stocked kitchen. we had a very fun time. If you are after a up to date home this is not for you but if you up for relaxing enjoying the view and location and fun time with friends and family this is perfect.

Awesome location, very close to the beach. Retro place, part of the charm. Listing mentioned wifi available, plus host messaged about finding modem for password, but we couldn't find it. Asked host for help but didn’t hear back/so better communication and help would have been nice. Overall a good stay!

Delightful Dolphin Point

Terrfic location - we barely moved from the property due to the proximity to both the surf and lake. Quirky house - requiring a bit of maintenance. We loved the 2 living areas and spread out across both often. The pool table was a big hit with our teens. Great views from the top floor.

Fishermans Shack Stay

Our stay at Fishermans Shack was lovely. The house was clean, comfortable, and in an amazing location. The check-in and out process was easy. Communication from Katie was clear, friendly, and helpful. The view from the lounge room and main bedroom was stunning. Access to the channel was directly across the road. The bunks were large enough for my adult children and my sons enjoyed the pool table. We would definitely stay again!

Light filled setting with a beautiful view.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. An older home with a retro feel kitchen, it is comfortable and catered for all our needs. Beds are comfy, bedrooms are clean, and the light filled living, dining and kitchen areas create a wonderful sense of calm. The pool table was an absolute hit! And the view; breathtaking! A perfect spot to relax, read, swim (so close to the beautiful beach and lake), and spend much needed down time with the family. We will be back!

Awesome Location

My husband and I stayed here for three nights whilst visiting some friends in the area. Although we did not spend much time at the house or have time to use all the amenities such as the pool table, it was the perfect house for our stay. The view is spectacular from the loungeroom and main bedroom. We loved having our morning coffee in front on the large window in the loungeroom or on the front porch and sleeping to the sounds of the ocean. It was literally a quick walk down to the water and there is a great cafe about a minutes drive down the road near the bridge. I would definitely stay here again.

Fisherman’s shack

The house was close to water and had lovely views of the ocean. The basement/laundry had some issues with washing machine taking hours to do a wash. Tapes dripped everywhere. All taps need washers. Everyone was comfortable and happy.

Incredible view but BYO fans!

The view & location were unbeatable! But no fans (or heaters) so you could either listen to the blinds banging about or have no air in the rooms at all. The heat was stifling & dusty aircon clearly hadn't worked for years. Beds were rock hard! Had to try to sleep in kids bunk bed in airless room on the second night to no avail as they were also hard & squeaky.Pile of broken darts in the dart board so we had to manage with 2!Billiards table was great fun!Late check-out was granted with no problem so I was grateful for that.

South Coast Chilling

This place is what it says on the tin… its an unassuming holiday house with a great view, easy access to the Burrill Lake inlet & beach. With teenagers the snooker table somewhat saved me from the lack of WiFi…& created a competitive fun! On balance, the sleeping arrangements were a challenge for 5 with no real air in the 2nd bedroom, the couches and furniture is a tad tired & with NO WiFi + bring your own linen (a very late notification & adding A$200 to the cost) at >A$2,600 for a week…it isn’t great value. That being said, having my 4 kids back to myself & the beach lifestyle made for a very chilled time in a beaut part of the south NSW coast!
