The space was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated.

The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to local attractions and with easy access to public transportation. I especially loved the thoughtful little touches, like fresh linens and a stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay

This place is amazing!! When we arrived, we were like kids on Christmas, exploring the place. I hope this place is available the next time we visit the area.

Great place for group gatherings

We held a company meeting and the space was perfect, plenty of space to spread out and not feel like you were on top of each other. The only minor downside was the parking. The lots were plowed and easy to locate, but if parking in the lower upper lot I'd recommend four wheel drive. We also saw about a foot of snow over the stay for context. Its an easy drive to the ski resorts which was a bonus.

Cozy Lodge

Cozy and spacious property very close to the Seven Springs Resort. Perfect for large families/ groups - ample bedrooms, bathrooms, seating and kitchen space. We cooked while we were there and could have used more than one large stock pot. Otherwise, a great time was had by all.

Fabulous mountain escape

Alpenhof was a fabulous find in the beautiful area of Seven Springs, PA. It is an exquisite and spacious lodge with more then enough room for a large group. We filled the house with joy, laughter and a delicious Thanksgiving feast. The kitchen is well equipped for such a large gathering. The 9 bedrooms are well appointed. The bathrooms are beautifully done and we had plenty of towels. We enjoyed pool and many other games in the huge hall on the 2nd floor. The grandkids enjoyed performing and singing for us on the stage. The indoor fireplace is cozy and warm but the fire pit on the patio and fireplace in the pavilion were a definite draw for young and old. Friday evening, we enjoyed delicious pizza made in the outdoor wood fired brick oven followed by s’mores. Our only negative was we couldn’t stay longer. Also, Mr. Hof is a five star host who replies quickly.

Wedding weekend

The lodge was conveniently located not far from our daughter’s wedding venue and housed the bride and groom’s family as well as the bridal party nicely. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. It was a great place to hold the rehearsal dinner and the after party following the reception.

Decor like you've never seen, but clean.

Especially nice kitchen, bathrooms, dining areas, large group areas for parties, in our case young cousin play. Very clean. Great outdoor area for eating, fires, play. If I had a complaint it would be that most bedrooms are too small to keep a suitcase out. I was glad we had a couple of rooms that were not used for sleeping because we needed the space to get ourselves ready for a wedding. Otherwise, great family fun in a very friendly State!

A wonderful weekend

Mr. Hof has a beautiful and well maintained property. My group of 15+ had a great time and more than enough room to spread out. The wildfire grill and huge fire pit were some of the highlights. Inside the house, everything worked and the beds were comfy. We would return in a heartbeat. One item of note, we purchased wood for fires from the vendor recommended by the owner but his prices were not cheap ($60 for one day of wood) but the wood was dry and delivered right to the house so you're paying for the ease. 10/10

Great property for family gatherings!

We had a pretty large group of family with a good mix of adults and children coming for a family reunion of sorts. We were very happy to find a property that fit our group. The accommodation was very comfortable with enough bedrooms and space for all the guests to spread out and enjoy. The outside pavilion and firepit area offered ample space for everyone to sit outside and enjoy the weather. The surrounding areas had plenty of outdoor activities like hiking and biking. All in all, our family enjoyed a great weekend!

An absolute blast

We loved our time here. There was more than enough space for our large group. The patio area was unbelievable. The kitchen had everything a large group would need and then some. The bathrooms and bedrooms were great! Highly recommend this place for a golf trip or bachelor party!

Time with the guys

A quick drive from Pittsburgh, this place was a perfect place for a relaxed hangout with a bigger group of guys. Even though the weather on our first night was cold, the indoor wood-burning stove and the covered outdoor fireplace kept us warm and dry and able to enjoy being inside or out. The kitchen is amazing, with industrial stove top, skillet, oven, and the space to truly cook. We had an amazing, secluded time and the owner was a text or call away with any and all questions throughout the weekend. I've stayed at many places that I feel I had been duped, but this place was exactly how it was listed.

Outstanding family party

Very spacious, clean, and comfortable lodge. My family loves it. We will have our winter mini-vacation at the Alpenhof many more times in the future.
