The house is a thoughtfully designed new build located at the beautiful Kai Iwi Beach. It has stunning panoramic views of the sea from the living areas and master bedroom with spectacular sunsets. Large sliding doors mean the living areas can be opened right up to the sea air. A short walk and you can be down at Kai Iwi beach enjoying a swim or taking the kids for a walk to the wonderful playground located by the beach.

We loved the house, the proximity to the beach & the children's playground. Close enough to enjoy Whanganui as well. Loved our bbq at the Bason gardens. Nice walks. Stunning sunset views over the ocean. Couldn’t have been better for all our whanau

Our second stay here. We love the views and proximity to the beach. The kitchen has everything you need. The house is always clean and tidy and well presented. It's great not having to take towels etc.

We had the most amazing weekend away at this beautiful home! The house was absolutely stunning - so clean, stylish, and comfortable, with the most incredible views. Everything was so peaceful and relaxing, the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay - highly recommend and would love to come back!

Great family getaway

We had a great time with three generations at this beautiful home, great winter retreat. We all loved it and the house was the destination between a few excursions out. We plan to spend a bit longer there over summer too!

Amazing views

Relaxing stay, so good, booked again while staying there. The house is clean with amazing views with more than enough room to Accomodate the whole family. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great stay catching up with friends

We meet twice a year to catch up and reminisce, in a nice location somewhere in NZ.We were lucky with the weather for the 4 days we were here and had some lovely excursions and walks on the beach.The sunsets didn't disappoint and we enjoyed the views and spacious house, relaxing with good food and wine.

Stellar views!

We stayed at this property over the Auckland anniversary long weekend with our two children and we were overly impressed with the quality of the home including the location! Kai Iwi is such a hidden gem and the beach down below the house was amazing to swim at with lifeguards and a huge park nearby for the kids. We would love to return!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. Well designed to take in the great view. Short walk to beach and short drive to town. Harriet was so easy to work with. Comfortable and well equipped home. Couldn't ask for more.

This home along with the location and views are beautiful. This was everything we wanted for a chilled girls weekend away, we were sad to leave. Harriet is a lovely and very responsive host. We'll definitely be looking to book again.

Outstanding home

All members of our family loved our experience at this property, from elderly parents, to youngest grandchild. We didnt realise that there were stairs, as elderly father is not so mobile, but he managed well. Would recommend property very highly.

Lovely new house with stunning views

Really enjoyed our stay here - lovely new house in a small coastal settlement about 15 mins drive from Whanganui. Very clean and tidy, great bathrooms and even has a butlers pantry. Would definitely come back. Owner was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
