BIENVENIDOS A CAPE GUINEVERE EN BAXTER LAKE
Disfruta de esta fantástica casa del lago en New Hampshire. Rodeado de árboles, Cape Guinevere es el refugio perfecto para una escapada tranquila con belleza escénica donde quiera que mire. Con una ubicación céntrica en Baxter Lake, Cape Guinevere está a unos 30 minutos de Portsmouth y Lake Winnipesaukee, y Gunstock Mountain, Loudon, Laconia, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport, Wolfeboro, Concord, Newburyport, Manchester y Hampton Beach se encuentran dentro de 1 hora.

Cape Guinevere está situado en dos pisos sobre el suelo, con casi 2,000 pies cuadrados de espacio de vida confortable. 4 habitaciones (2 camas queen, 1 cama matrimonial, 2 camas individuales), 2. 5 baños, ropa de cama y toallas incluidas, una cocina completa con muchos utensilios y utensilios de cocina, una mesa gigante con capacidad para 10 y asientos al aire libre en mesas de picnic . Cape Guinevere está a unos 5 minutos a pie de la playa en el lago Baxter a lo largo de un camino tranquilo y seguro. Desde aquí, puede nadar, lanzar kayaks, lanzar un bote o simplemente disfrutar de las vistas. The house was excellent we enjoyed every minute we were there. I was worried a little bit about it being pet friendly but the house was extremely clean. Additionally we did bring our dog Jessie who is a large New Foundland and she also felt right at home with plenty of space and places to walk. The host was easy to communicate with and was very helpful throughout the process.

The house was a perfect size for us, having 4 adults, 4 kids under 7 and 2 dogs. We did not feel cramped at all!The outdoors area is perfect for hanging out around the fire with food on the grill and while the kids play!! The lake/beach areas, very well kept and beautiful. The house was VERY well prepped from the kitchen to the bedrooms! Every dish/cooking pot you can think of, cooked 3 nights and had everything we needed and more!Butternut farm is great!! Apple cider donuts and their Apple BBQ sauce was top notch!Lastly, the host is great! Very responsive and helpful! We didn't ask for much but from what we did ask, I could tell he was willing to go above and beyond! Would definitely recommend!

Kicking Back Along Camelot Shores

Our hosts could not have been more thoughtful or any more hospitable. They had an uncanny ability to anticipate any want and/or need and customized their property to optimize our guest experience. The home is spacious and cozy at the same time. The outdoor area and fire pit made for memorable evenings. The location along the shores of Baxter Lake was convenient for all the activities that we engaged in. I highly recommend spending time at Camp Guenevere. Make certain to plan in advance as this property is very popular and justifiably so. Thank you.

UNH Graduation Weekend

We picked this property because of the location (about 25 minutes from the University of New Hampshire), size (we had 6 adults, needed 4 bedrooms) and dog-friendliness (had to bring our guy). Communication with Jason was easy. He promptly answered my questions as they came up. The cabin was spotless! Pictures and description were accurate. The neighborhood is adorable! The beach was a short walk from the house. We lucked out and had a beautiful summer day (in mid May). We took advantage of the kayaks and beach chairs and spent the whole day with our graduate on the beach! I would highly recommend this property for families. My only regret is not staying longer!

Excellent, well maintained property in NH

Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away in NH. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with. Property was clean, well stocked with cooking gear and cooking basics, there was firewood and kindling for making a fire, and everything was in good working condition. We had infants and children with us and they had a blast. Location is a quick 20 minutes away from downtown Dover and the Children's museum, if you're looking for something to do with small children. Great rental, we might use it again if we go back to NH.

Wonderful place

Clean, well-maintained house. Many amenities above and beyond. Even generous supply of firewood. Not sure I'll ever be back in that area but if I am, that's where I'm staying. Jason was very helpful with communication before and during our visit. FIVE STARS! You won't be disappointed.

Perfect family getaway

The house was great for a family gathering - especially the large dining table for playing games, doing puzzles and, of course, dining. Every amenity (including a very well stocked kitchen) you might need was provided. The fire pit with plenty of firewood and outdoor grill added so much to the ambiance! The house feels quiet and remote with so many activities ( restaurants, etc) a very close drive away. Would absolutely go back there!

Fabulous Family Vacation

We have rented many vacation properties for our annual family vacation, but this property is absolutely the best of the best! It's so comfortable and accommodating for the adults, grandchildren and even our 4 month old grandson. We enjoyed the lake during the day and the firepit at night. There was every amenity you could ever need! 5 stars!

Guinevere was perfect!

This our second year at Cape Guinevere, and once again we had a wonderful stay. The house is cozy and well equipped, and really just perfect for our family to gather for meals, walks around Lancelot Shores, and of course for fires around the fire pit. It is close to Rochester and stores but we felt like we had our own private getaway in the woods. We’d go back again in a heartbeat!

Cozy and comfortable

We loved our stay at Cape Guinevere! The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The beaches are nice and close. We are grateful we got to bring our dogs with us on vacation. We had lots of fun swimming with them at the dog beach. Owners are great!

Perfect New England Vacation

We spent a week in this lovely, immaculate and comfortable home. Our family rages in age from 7 to 68 years old, and every one of us enjoyed this vacation. The location was perfect. There are a couple small beaches that we could walk to but we were close enough to drive to Ogunquit Maine to spend a day at the ocean beach. We even spent a day at Lake Winnipesaukee and enjoyed that beautiful area. When we were just relaxing at home, there were plenty of board games to play, and we even enjoyed sitting around the fire pit a couple evenings. We had such a wonderful time. The homeowner was so quick to answer our questions and was very accommodating. Our family agrees that this is a rental home that we all want to return to!

The coziest birthday getaway

Came to stay for my birthday weekend with a few friends to be cozy by the fireside and play board games. It ended up being -2 Fahrenheit for most of the time we were there, but we were snug and happy at Cape Guinevere! Everything was spotless, and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in at any VRBO/BnB. The owner is so friendly and easy to communicate with. Really a wonderful experience. We hope to return for future cozy getaways!

We purchased Cape Guinevere at Baxter Lake in 2016 from a lovely family who built the home in the 90’s and intended to retire here. We live in Newburyport, but have been vacationing in New Hampshire at Baxter Lake for many years. In fact, our family members retired right down the street from Cape Guinevere! Baxter Lake is close enough from Boston for a quick hour-and-forty-minute drive up after work, but it's a world away from the city. No light pollution, clean air, quiet and tranquil, Cape Guinevere at Baxter Lake is the perfect escape for a long weekend, or a full week's vacation in the summer.

You can tell from the home’s craftsmanship, attention-to-detail, and structural integrity that the original owners truly expected to live here year round, and for many years. It's a destination unto itself, but also close enough to grocery stores, hardware stores, craft stores, and restaurants (15 minutes away), skiing (45 minutes away), and day trips under an hour (Ogunquit, Dover, Portsmouth, Laconia, Lake Winnipesaukee, Maine, Outlet Shopping).

We escape the city for our home in the woods as often as possible, but we also love sharing our home with responsible families and groups of friends who will treat our home respectfully.
