Highly recommend the Little House on the Lot. We were in town visiting family, and it was wonderful to have an immaculate, modern and quiet home base. The space is even larger than it appears online — plenty of room to spread out or come together. Sari was incredibly responsive to our questions and a delight to work with. We will definitely look to stay again the next time we’re in town.

Centrally located and charming

The property is located between Ithaca and Cortland so it was very convenient. Everything was as advertised and it felt like a home away from home. I would definitely stay again.

House on the Lot

The house was just perfect. Great location; close to other towns, parks, and local town trail. Our two Border Collies had a great time. Comfortable for occupants with two legs or four. Sari was a wonderful host!!

Five Stars! Clean, comfortable, cosy and yet chic!

We had a wonderful and all-too-brief stay in Dryden visiting with family during the 4th of July weekend. Situated in 'downtown' Dryden, the house provided easy access to the Dryden Rail Trail for dog-walks and quick trips for conveniences while also being a short drive to Freeville and Ithaca for family events. Stylish but comfortable, and with a few key amenities already prepared by hosts to enable visitors to have a stress-free visit, we definitely felt welcomed on our stay.

Special rental in the village of Dryden

Our Second Visit to The Little House on the Lot

Thoughtful hosts and lovely home

We had a wonderful time. This was a great location during a Cornell graduation. House was beautifully decorated and furnished, including a kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, honey and spices. We even had an elaborate grilled dinner one night . Thank you!

This place was perfect for our needs. We were five adults and one sweet pup. It was my brother’s wedding weekend. We were busy and emotional and this sweet little house was a haven. It was very clean, and the owners were MORE than responsive to our questions. I only wish we would have a reason to go back and stay again!

Perfect Place for Families

The Little House on the Lot was perfect for our family of 2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child, and 1 infant. The house included everything we needed for our stay, including beds for all kids and a pack and play for the baby. The location was also perfect with many food and drink options and a public park with playground all within a very short walk. Finally, the hosts were very easily accessible and ensured that our entire stay was stress-free. Whenever we are in the area again, we will check to see if the Little House on the Lot is available before looking anywhere else.

Little House on the Lot

We were in Dryden, NY, for a baseball tournament for my 17 year old son. The house was a great retreat. Very central location, close to Ithaca, Cortland and Greek's Peak. The owners were super helpful and accommodating. They even bought a barbecue for the house while we were there!! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Thanksgiving at Little House on the Lot

Property is just as described plus more! Smart Kitchen made making a Thanksgiving meal easy. Home layout is great for family time as well as individual space. That Bathtub!!! Quiet location. Clean home. Great place close to various locations.

Dryden gem

Brad and Sari were very accommodating during our stay quick to respond with any questions we had. We were in town for our son’s baseball tournament which was about 10 minutes from Dryden. Family loved the comfortable beds and sitting out on the porch.Dog loved lounging on the couch. Excellent weekend!

We had an extraordinary stay at The Little House on the Lot in Dryden, NY. Such a beautiful home!

Everything about our stay at the Little House was lovely! It was spotless, the decor was fun, beautiful, and relaxing. The furniture was comfortable. Every detail was thought of. Sari and Brad were a joy to connect with. It was fun to explore the area and come home to such a great house! Yes, the location is unusual. But don't let that stop you! Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as detailed in the listing—no surprises, just a wonderful place to call home for our visit. The property was clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The amenities were top-notch, with a fully-equipped kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals and enjoy family dinners together. The living area was comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the campus and the surrounding area. Location-wise, it couldn't be more convenient. Just a short drive from SUNY Cortland, we were able to easily visit our daughter and enjoy the local attractions. There were also some lovely parks and restaurants nearby, giving us plenty of options for outdoor activities and dining. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
