We had an incredible stay here. The setting is exactly as described on a magnificent property surrounded by nature and a stream flows across the front of the yard, and the amenities were nothing short of luxurious. Incredible stay which we hope to come back to soon!

Stayed for a week & wished we could have stayed longer! Such a pleasant house with serene & tranquil surroundings (the babbling brook/river makes you feel like you’re in a storybook). Spacious for two people and a dog and has a fully equipped kitchen.

We had a truly tranquil and relaxing weekend at this beautiful getaway! The setting was peaceful and perfect for unwinding. One of the highlights was definitely the wood-fired sauna — such a unique and cozy touch. Marwin was an excellent host: welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful. Everything was exactly as described, if not better. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene escape. Thank you, Marwin!

Accommodating hosts and a cozy cabin

This place is amazing! Waterfall is beautiful the hot tub and sauna were easy to set up and the hosts provided coffee and tea as well. They were also super accommodating with an early check in. Definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect. It's cozy, yet airy and light. If you're four people, bring masks for those who sleep in the sun room. It gets wonderfully bright. Also, bring extra wood. If it's chilly, and you want an outdoor fire, the sauna, and indoor fire, you wouldn't have enough. But otherwise this property is fantastic. The snow melt made the little falls quite quick and loud, but it was gorgeous. I'll definitely go back in the summer. I highly recommend it!

An amazing place!!

The moment we arrived we were enchanted by the sound of the babbling brook. Inside, each room had a unique distincteveness whether the sun that came in the back with the beautiful windows or the glassed in chimninea fireplace. And then what a treat to be able to enjoy all of a spa, sauna and fire pit outside. And wow the bed was so comfortable and the sheets buttery soft we slept super well. We would love to make this spot a frequent visit.

Pretty good with some small drawbacks

My stay was pretty good, but they were a few things that kept it from being great, with so small improvement this place could be a gem. The toilet sink is basically stuck The shower pressure is very low The AC is super loud

A no-frills quiet place to relax. The home is very private at the end of a long gravel road. We saw a turtle as we were driving up it. The one bed upstairs was very comfortable. The brook was gorgeous. There are some things that made the stay less than perfect though:The porch, which is one of the first impressions, was quite untidy (filled ashtray, pail with detirus, very work broom). Since there is a cleaning fee, baving that tidied would have made a better first impression. The second bed (a modular sofa bed) only had one pillow (with not pillow case) and no sheets. We eventually found some extras in the upstairs bedroom wardrobe, but keeping a fresh set with the blanket and pillow is the right move. And lastly, the listing notes a coffee maker, so we brought ground coffee with us. The only coffee maker was a Keurig machine - with only 4 pods. We booked two night, so this was not enough for 4 people on 2 mornings. There was 3 tea bags loose in a drawer as well. Having a more welcoming coffee/tea situation would have been nice. These are all things that can be changed easily and would improve other guests stays alot. Thanks

Couple get away

The place is amazing and so peaceful! Couple friendly for people that want either a romantic get away or to unwind and relax. The place as everything you can think of. Very well organized and clean. Spa, sauna, outside shower, wood fire place, bbq and more… Not to forget that it is a pet friendly property witch made it a big plus cause we had our furry baby. The dog had a blast! Thank you very much Hardly Recommend this place and will be back! 😎

Beautiful property - a dream come true!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at this beautiful cottage. Tucked away on a back road on the outskirts of Mt Tremblant, it was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet and secluded yet cozy and comfortable, we loved every minute and wished we could have stayed longer! The property was exactly as advertised. The loft-style bedroom with a king-sized bed was gorgeous and spacious. And the hot tub was perfect on a cold, late fall evening. We did not have time to try the sauna, but I’m sure it would have been lovely, too. We had lots of room to spread out and relax (3 adults plus small dog). I would definitely book this property again in the future. Such a great find!

physically a nice relaxing visit the deck is rotten past the hot tub (nearly fell through) a yellow birch has lost its mooring and is leaning on the power line to the cottage (lights flicker a lot) lots of carpenter ants the hot tub is not functioning on setting #1 overall a very enjoyable visit

Lovely spot; wish communications was better

The spot is beautiful. The cottage is peaceful, private. No fire pit but not needed with the forest fires. We missed a few stay days due to smog ..which was "dangerous to health" at the time . There were no HVAC air filters or air purifiers. No refund of course since I didn't cancel in time. I was upset at prospect of losing money with zero vacation stay. I asked about a partial refund or reschedule ..for some of the stay. The owner said no refund was possible but that I could call VRBO to see what they could do. I spoke to VRBO who said that the owner can refund or reschedule. They said they'd contact the owner. Hours passed. VRBO called back to say they messaged/called the owner but got no response. Then, they called back saying they had owner on the phone. Great! Finally an answer. No response. I messaged owner and he just said "VRBO didn't give me answer about refunding you". Most owners show care ... you don't have to chase down an answer. I just wanted to hear: "I'm sorry .. it sucks to lose vacation time. I can give you a bit of help here." I didn't ask for whole refund. He did offer15% off next stay. In the moment I was tired and I shared my upset. No response. But I messaged again saying: I was upset but will make best of it. Said I'd let him know if/when I would stay. No response. He did respond when I said I was going. He answered my 1 question. I confirmed my check out. No response. After so many great hosts this one felt cold and curt.
