Tablelands Tranquil Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Best budget option on the tablelands. Lush gardens and beautiful area of surrounding farmlands. Clean, comfortable and functional. Tree Kangaroos and other wildlife also sharing the property! Free unlimited WIFI- (speeds not guaranteed) available in the cottage.

Farming cottage located on our family hobby farm, 7 minutes drive to MALANDA. Yard area and parking area available with the booking. Full kitchen with oven and full bathroom with a separate toilet. House is away from and facing the opposite direction to the main house which allows for full privacy and own access. Nice quiet area for walking down country roads and plenty of wildlife around. Close to waterfalls, hiking trails and nature walks.

It was ideal to see the table lands. Visit all the waterfalls. The only thing is we didn't like is the sitting arrangement, it only had one couch, and that was very uncomfortable. But other than that, it was perfect

The house is unreal, everything you need is there from kitchen, bedrooms and Bathroom. We met the owner and family and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Very quiet, internet works well, private and spacious. LOVED IT.

Affordable family-friendly cottage with the lot!

Our second family holiday at TTR was as relaxed, budget-friendly and well-equiped as our first stay. From the little touches like complimentary bikkies and ice blocks and cold water in the fridge, to the clean, quaint and comfy living spaces and bedrooms, fully functional oven and washing machine that kept us well fed and in clean clothes plus a full size bath with piping hot water! We also discovered the joys of traditional qurrnslander windows in keeping us cooler in the steamy wet season! We will definitely be back again!

Comfortable old Queensland farm cottage

In this comfortable old Queensland cottage, my family was provided with just what we needed as a home base to unwind and relax every evening after visiting relatives in the area during the day. Everything was very clean and extremely comfortable, and the sound of nature at night and in the morning was an absolute treat! It was a delightful experience for us all, and we really enjoyed spending our time in such an authentic 'old world' setting. Thank you!

Feels like home

We loved staying at Tablelands Tranquil Retreat. This Queenslander is for people who like character and a place that feels like home. It is in the most beautiful location, sparkling clean and has everything you could possible need, a firm but comfy bed, lots of hot water for showering and the fireplace was useful for the cooler weather. There are some lovely touches such as beautiful stained glass and a someone talented has painted flowers on the walls in a few places around the house. The cottage is right next door to the main house but you can only see it when you're coming up the driveway, when you're inside you can't see the main house. We will definitely be back.

Excellent value for money accommodation in secluded location.

A quaint old building with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed we used was really comfortable and all the white goods are practically new and work well. The weather was very hot for our stay making it difficult for the fans to keep up, but I imagine it would be very cosy during winter with the use of the beautiful wood heater. I would thoroughly recommend this property for couples or small families requiring a place to stay in the heart of the magnificent Atherton Tablelands at a very reasonable price.
