An absolutely wonderful place to get away from life’s busyness and demands. The cabin was exactly as expected with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable furniture, big windows, secluded outdoor fire pit and the perfect spot to read a book by the water. As long as you don’t mind the steep walk to the water this cabin is a great little getaway with really fantastic hosts. Highly recommend!

Patti was a wonderful host and very attentive to our needs. The listing is somewhat misleading as I indicated I wanted someplace close to the Granite Hills golf course and the property is 10 kilometers away as the crow flies. It is a 35 minute drive from the property to the golf course which we weren't expecting. We also found the mattress in the bedroom somewhat uncomfortable and we both woke up with sore backs.

We enjoyed a perfect girls weekend away. Very relaxing and enjoyed the firepit right outside.

Cabin, amenities, and communication with owners was great. Unfortunately the wifi is very limited and the walk down to the water is quite a decline. If you get past that, we really enjoyed it

Lovely in late October

The cabin was clean. And we appreciated the very well stocked kitchen tools. The hosts were quick to respond and helpful about our many questions.

Great cozy cabin in the woods.

The cabin was a great getaway, with everything needed for a relaxing stay (even a nice wine cooler, but no microwave). The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The walk down to the river was steeper than expected, but was fine with sturdy shoes.

A perfect weekend getaway

After searching high and low for a short-term, weekend getaway, we stumbled across this gem! This place ticked off all my boxes. Although the weather didn't entirely work in our favour, we were still able to enjoy the beautiful views from the property, and relax in a clean, cozy, & modern little cabin. Also really appreciated all the amenities that were accessible to us, which definitely made our stay more fun and enjoyable! Thank you to our very accommodating hosts! Would definitely stay here again!

Long weekend getaway

We spent most of our days driving to Pinawa to enjoy the float and paddle and the inflatable park. They were kind to take us for a pontoon boat ride. The bbq tank was empty on our last day (only used once) and they wanted to charge us $10 for fill it - if you have any small bbq canisters maybe take your own to avoid paying

Awesome stay ,despite the weather

Our stay was not ideal , only in that the weather did not cooperate , however , because of how accommodating, cozy clean and comfortable everything was , we had a great time unwinding, playing games going for walks, sitting on the beautiful dock and relaxing . Lots to see and do and Patti and Farley are 2 of the most genuinely nicest people we have ever met. We will be reserving again next year . 5-star all the way .

The guest home is not on waterfront as is listed

Got the waterfront listing so my elderly parents could relax by an easily accessible waterfront. Unfortunately waterfront is not the accurate way to describe it as it’s a steep walk way down to the owners actual home to enjoy their water front. Parents fell actually walking down to their cabin.

Very nIce property.

Modern and absolutely spotless cabin. Hosts were friendly and responsive to our questions. Swings and slides if you have little ones. A caution if you,re an older senior.The waterfront is less than 150 yards downhill from cabin but you need two good legs to get back up the steep mostly paved incline from water to cabin. Over all I,d give the property a high rating.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The location was quiet and private, making it the perfect escape. The check-in process was seamless, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine waiting for us as we celebrated our anniversary.Although the weather was a bit chilly, we loved spending time reading on the dock and cozying up inside the cabin. The pellet stove was very easy to use and kept us perfectly warm as we played games together. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals, which made staying in a pleasure.The owner was incredibly kind and responsive, often replying to our questions almost immediately. One of the highlights of our trip was the boat ride they treated us to on our last evening.Overall, it was the perfect little getaway and exactly what we were hoping for.

Very clean. The dishwasher and wine fridge are an added perk that we appreciated and the bunk beds were fun for the kids. The walk down to the water is steep but great exercise, and we loved swimming and relaxing by the dock.
