NEW HOT TUB, ROOFTOP PATIO AND ENHANCED LAKE VIEWS!!! Dogs are welcome!

A brand new build overlooking the deep blue waters of Lake Huron. Enjoy the wonderful sunsets over the water from our rooftop patio. After the sunset, have a fire around our propane fire table and enjoy looking up at the stars or enjoy our new hot tub. This area is very quiet and peaceful. This house was built to leverage the natural environment around it, open all the windows on a nice day and the lake breeze will pass right through the house. The windows along the roofline let natural light enter the house from sunrise to sunset. Fibre high speed internet and a 65" TV allows you to be entertained when you are not out at the sandy beach or swimming in the lake. The kitchen has all brand new modern appliances including a dishwasher, induction stove, fridge, Microwave and propane BBQ (pots, pans, dishes flatware and small appliances are included). The lower decking is very large and has lots of room for lounging, cooking and eating outside. Patio furniture is provided. Outdoor wood burning fire pit is in the spacious back yard with provided firewood. Local park with play equipment, basketball court, baseball diamond for the kids within walking distance. The 9 mile river is popular for fishing in the spring summer and fall when fish travel up the river to spawn. Port Albert is close to many breweries, wineries, golf courses, and the festivals in Kincardine, Goderich and Blyth. This stay is a true Gem not to be missed.

Becky and Ben are incredibly thoughful! We didnt get the pleasure of meeting them, but just by our stay we were able to tell that they are one of the best hosts. Everything was so well thought of! Instructions and near by entertainment or things to do are very clearly written in a detailed binder left at the counter for you to read through. The entire house was very clean organized and spotless. We made sure to do our best in leaving it as we found it, because the effort that Becky and Ben have put into this home are obvious and very much appreciated by us. We did get some unfortunate weather which caused us to have to stay indoors and not enjoy much of the surrounding nature and trails, but there was more than enough entertainment indoors! Hot tub was very clean, fully functional and set up at 100F upon our arrival. We got to enjoy a beautiful evening of star gazing while in the hit tub. BBQ was fully stocked with propane and the kitchen was fully equipped with all necessary utensils for any kind of cooking! We look forward to coming back here in the summer as im sure it'll be a whole other experience that will be just as enjoyable, and we'll be able to enjoy even more of the beautiful nature around us! Thank you again Becky and Ben for this amazing experience. Your thoughfulness and hosting far exceeded our expectations and we truly appreciate it and look forward to coming back again!

Ben was very quick to get back to us with any questions. Clean,comfortable and everything you need to have a great holiday. Just a little disappointed that lake wasn't as close as l thought but nothing to do with host. Hot tub clean and enjoyed immensely by husband.Would recommend his place to friends. Quite ,relaxing holiday.

Fantastic property in a great location

We had a great stay at this wonderful location. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to local attractions but still peaceful and quiet. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive throughout. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Beautiful and cozy

We had a great time calling this place home for the short time we were there. House is beautiful and very welcoming. The house was very comfortable and lots of amenities for our young family. Great job Ben and Becky. The girlfriend is already bugging me to come back lol. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful and relaxing stay

My family and I had an amazing time here! The house was super clean and cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were impressed with all the thoughtful touches, like indoor and outdoor blankets, kids dishes, games and puzzles, a new large TV, ceiling fans, and AC. The hosts clearly put a lot of love into their property and making sure their guests have everything they need. We had a blast playing lawn games on the spacious property and relaxing on the beautiful deck with a glass of wine. We would definitely come back again! Thanks so much to Ben and Becky for creating such wonderful memories for us!

This is a beautiful property!!! It has amazing indoor and outdoor living space! It is set in a nice location just a short 15 min walk to the beach - which is absolutely breathtaking. The host is very responsive and helpful. We can't wait to return to this property next summer!

Relaxing piece of paradise

The hosts were a pleasure to deal with, they responded immediately, and went out of their way to help us when we had some mishaps on our way there. The property is exactly as described. Spotless, equipped with every appliance and dish you could possibly need, board games, etc. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, there were no shortages of places to relax, both inside, and out. With the deck wrapping around the whole house, and seating on each section, we could move into the shade as the sun moved throughout the day. The rooftop patio was a perfect place to enjoy our coffee and in morning, with the cool lake breeze and the sound of the waves crashing to the shore in the distance. It was a very quick 3 minute drive to the beach, with an option on each side of the river. Both were beautiful, with clean turquoise water and the most breathtaking view of the sun setting over the lake, which could also be seen from the rooftop patio while relaxing in front of the fire table. I would recommend doing both if you have the opportunity. The pub pizza at the general store was amazing as well, a must try!

Excellent!

Pristine property and close access to beach. Quick ride in your vehicle if you have alot of beach accessories or you could do a 15 to 20 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends. Ben is very quick to respond to any questions you may have!

PA Cottage Vacation

We had a great time at this location. The hosts were great as well! Upon arrival we settled in smoothly and the house was bright and clean! We loved the outdoor spaces, so many options and lots of deck space from the rooftop patio (which is the perfect spot for sunset watching) to dinning outside. The house was also fully stocked with everything you could need which was great because we completely forgot about smore skewers!! All in all we had a great time!

Home away from home

My partner and I enjoyed the stay at the nice retreat at Port Albert/Goderich/Lake Huron. House is as described, clean, and has everything you possibly need, even board games and welcome gifts. You won’t be bored outdoors. Have a hike, visit boutique shops (in Goderich), and of course watch sunset. Will definitely visit again!

If you are a work crew working near by or if you are looking for a getaway from the city for a while, our goal was to create a place where you could feel comfortable and relax. We look forward to continuing to add more features for your enjoyment. We have two kids who love going to Port Albert and we love making memories there. Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Port Albert is famous for the fish ladder, proximity to breweries and wineries, Goderich has outdoor summer concerts that are free to the public every weekend in the summer. Port Albert is also home to a relatively unknown sandy beach so its rarely crowded. But the real Gem is the sun setting over the water at lake Huron every night. We chose this spot to build our house because the people are friendly and welcoming, the beach and great and its a a quiet, peaceful place to visit with the kids.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Access to the sandy beaches and sunsets over the water. The quiet of the town is relaxing, there is almost no mosquitos (which really is a bonus!). But, it's also not far away from all the stores and amenities you are used too. When there is no moon and almost no street lights that makes star gazing at night like no other place. A unique feature is our roof top patio. It is spacious with comfortable seating and a fire table to enjoy the lake views!
