With only two apartments per floor and styled to Hamptons perfection, Point Break is a private oasis for you to have a truly memorable holiday. Lay in bed and watch the view, laze on the balcony and see if you can spot whales, dolphins or turtles. Watch ships and yachts go by. With a fully equipped kitchen and views from every room, you may find yourself not wanting to go far, but if you do, you can take a walk to the historic lighthouse, swim, surf and explore the gorgeous rock pools.

The Space:
Point Break is situated within exclusive Point Cartwright, which uniquely affords views of the marina, river mouth, Glasshouse mountains and gorgeous beach on one side, and views of the Pacific ocean right down to Caloundra on the other side. You have a view from every room here - even the loo!

You are spoilt for choice, with direct access to a safe / calm swimming beach and the ocean / fantastic surfing at your doorstep, or cozy up in the apartment and simply watch the ever changing view outside.

Within the most divine and uniquely private setting, spend lazy days on the beach, an afternoon on the cozy day bed on our balcony, walk to the point taking in the scenery or bring your surfboard and surf the waves out front. Dine al fresco, read a book from the deck chair, swim in the pool or simply enjoy the unbeatable sunsets in what we think is the best spot for ‘happy hour’ on the Sunshine Coast.

Guest Access:
Point Break is all yours to enjoy. Our apartment is accessed by a lift. We have a car park available in the basement, however it is not suitable for overly large vehicles (there is free car parking available next to our building). Please note the height of the garage is 1.95m.
The swimming pool is yours to respectfully use and is shared by other residents.

The Neighborhood:
In an unbeatable location, you will love the old school 70's surf vibe of Buddina. You are close to all that you need – great cafes at your doorstep the locals love (Twin Fins, One La Balsa, Little Miss Saine), and Kawana Shopping & Cinema (3 min drive). La Balsa Park and Kawana Surf Club are also local faves.
Mooloolaba beach is close (5 min drive), as is the Wharf which is home to many fantastic restaurants & bars. Try our favourite, Rice Boi and share a drink at the Shaker Bar. If you don't want to drive, catch the ferry on weekends to the Mooloolaba wharf for a scenic trip across the river.

Getting Around:
Buddina is 15 min from the Sunshine Coast Airport and 1hr 20 min from Brisbane. Getting around is easy, with many things in walking distance, great food deliveries, or easy to use Uber. Bring your car and park underneath.

Other Things to Note:
*We DO NOT take schoolies bookings*

*No guests under the age of 20 travelling independently, fine if accompanied by family (ie. young adults apart from a family booking is ok.)

*This home is in a residential community with neighbours in close proximity. We have quiet hours on the Sunshine Coast after 9pm. We ask that you also generally respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum generally.

*Please note to stay with us you will be required to fill out a check-in form for your stay. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.

*Point Break is not suitable for children due to the delicate nature of its furnishings and safety on the balcony. We are also not suitable for pets due to body corporate rules.

*We stock basic pantry supplies and you are welcome to use anything that is there - if you finish something, please replace it for our next lovely guests.
