My sister and her family had a wonderful time, there was something for everyone to do and their not complaint was that the stay wasn’t long enough. (:

This is the nicest VRBO I've stayed in. It is welcoming and comfortable throughout. The house is very well stocked in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything works! Two tandem kayaks, on carts, in the garage are a special treat. The owner/operator was very helpful, easy to contact, and replied quickly. All in all, quite lovely.

This location was excellent and the views are amazing. If we are in Calabogie again the Lotus would be our first choice.

Great place to stay.

We are group of adult friends, we had a wonderful weekend, swimming, exploring, cooking, kayaking. The house and property were beautiful and very well appointed. We will definitely return.

This was an absolutely top notch experience. Great communication, excellent check in instructions and a really beautiful home, well furnished, well supplied (and then some). Great Time at the Lotus Calabogie House

The house accommodations were great, and the location is awesome. Our family spent many hours each day at the beach (Barnet Park) and kayaking on the lake.

Family Cottage Weekend

The Lotus was a great weekend getaway for myself and my extended family! Big enough for 6 adults, 4 children and a dog to spread out and have a wonderful weekend. Close to a nice little beach and lots of outdoor space.

Family getaway

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at the Lotus. The home was well organized and spacious. Promixity to the lake was the favourite attraction for the kids.

Our family of 10 had the pleasure of staying at the Lotus. Everything was great! Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. House was clean and large enough for everyone. We really enjoyed the gazebo during the evenings to play games. Barnett Park within easy walking distance and we went to the beach several times used the boat ramp. We brought a SUP and was able to put in the water right across the road. The double kayaks were terrific to have.We fished across the road morning and evening. Great location to the village for LCBO and grocery store. Had a campfire . I would just caution others about the poison ivy but that is not the fault of the host...just something to be aware of. All in all a great week and we would not hesitate to return. Thank you for sharing this house with us!

Annual Sisters’ Weekend

This house was exactly what we hoped it would be. The grounds and views were spectacular. Since we planned to cook over the weekend, we were pleased the kitchen was very well equipped, and the cabinets labelled with the contents. The bathrooms were similarly well equipped with supplies. The check-in process was easy and the host very responsive. We will be happy to stay here again in the future.

May vacation

We had a mid week break at the end of May. The house was lovely, very spacious. Kitchen well equipped. The host checked in on us the first day to make sure everything had gone ok with the check in. It was all very good.
