Our host was very responsive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is beautiful, in the perfect location for our plans, tons of room, and the kids had a great time in the game room. Our family had a great time and would definitely stay again! One recommendation would be to place some kind of mats or covering on the front steps of the cabin as it stayed wet and became very slick.

The house was absolutely gorgeous ... Spacious with plenty sitting areas and great game room for everyone to gather in. Perfectly located This place exceeded our expectations!!! This house is a 12 out of 10.

Stayed 2 nights with 3 other couples. One bed had chips in sheets when they went to bed. Lower level refrigerator simply does not work. Items were warm the next day after placing them in that fridge cold. It got horrible in night two when it began to rain. This cabin with mostly positive reviews must be all when it doesn’t rain. The living room has a massive roof leak, the kitchen, the stairwell, and worse the lower level king bedroom. That bedroom has a leak that is centered above the bed and soaked that bed making it not able to be used. Messaged the manager and got zero response until after we checked out. No offer of compensation or anything.

Awesome Cabin

Grandchildren had a blast in the downstairs game room. Even the adults got involved ion a good competition of arcade battles. I highly recommend Bear Haven. We will definitely be coming back for future vacations.

The cabin is very nice and large enough for my whole family....2 years old to 63. There were a couple of issues that need to be addressed. The biggest issue we had was the lack of tv and internet service. After speaking with everyone I had contact information for, on the 3rd day a samsung tv was purchased for the living room but was only usable with our hot spot. The internet service was never restored. We were there for 5 nights. The keurig coffee maker leaks all over the counter unless you hold the top down while the coffee is making.Not a must, but a light around the hot tub would make it usable after dark and ice trays for the kitchen since the ice maker doesn't work would be a plus.Location is great and the use of the pool in the neighboring condo saved our trip.

This cabin is amazing! It is beautiful. We only had the pleasure of staying two nights. We were actually there for my mothers 75th birthday and she has been wanting a dinner cruise on a river forever. So, we attended the one in Knoxville. Although, my mother was very happy (because family from Ohio met us in Knoxville) I would have been content staying in this cabin and never leaving!! My sons (both in their 20’s) and their wives shared this cabin. We very much enjoyed chilling in the lower level playing pool and pac man. I would book again!! Pay attention to your check in and check out times!! I vowed to have an electronic device free weekend. I wish I had checked email because I believed checkout was at 11am but it is at 10am. The checkin process was very convenient and check out too. If you are looking for a cabin close to the parkway, book this. If you want a quiet getaway, this isnt the cabin for you. We loved our stay!Thank you

Wonderful Family Time

We got to the cabin and unloaded. Everything was clean, neat, and felt like home away from home. We had a scavenger hunt of the three floors with our oldest grandson - so much fun seeing it through his eyes. From that point on the stay in the cabin was amazing. When our little two year old granddaughter got there we explored the cabin with her - she was so excited! Not only did we tour the area, we had a terrific time playing games, swimming, and hiking together. The swimming pool was close to the cabin, so we enjoyed time with the family there. Also, everyone but the grandkids got to enjoy the hot tub. Added bonus communication with the owners at anytime was perfect. Could not have had a better host for our vacation. You will definitely enjoy your family stay in this spacious cabin. We highly recommend this location!

Spacious and a couple of minutes to parkway

The cabin is spacious and well kept! Huge porches, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. The beds are huge and comfy!Just a couple of minutes drive and you are at the parkway. The cabin is in a community setting so you have access to an indoor pool in the main high rise condo building. It was a great stay.

Poor communication with management and no help with a property issue

Everything was great, the cabin, location, Easy access to the parkway, accommodations! Until the basement flooded and all of the belongings of my daughter and her family were standing in water (clothes, suitcases, shoes and some were ruined). Phone calls were not answered promptly. I had to call and call and call to get anyone to answer the phone. We got no help with accommodations on our last night there. We had no place to sleep and no help from anyone for our situation. Not good business practices were used to accommodate all of us. I am sure you have standard procedures for such an emergency. But no one acted as if they cared and didn't act like they knew what do to.....so you chose to do NOTHING. I still have not received a resolution. I do understand there were 2 family loses during this time and I am very sorry for your losses. I am still waiting to hear from Larry to address the issue and receive some compensation. Someone should have handled our emergency. I called 3 people at the resort and no one provided any assistance. I don't feel like this is your standard procedure for tenants (at least I hope not). We spent good money to stay there and we were considering our next stay there. This needs to be rectified with me. This is not acceptable

Perfect. Just as advertised. The group had nothing but positive comments about the cabin.

Our Dinner Club couples had a perfect long weekend here. We loved all the decks with swings and rockers. We cooked 1-2 meals there every day with plenty of space to just hang out and enjoy our time together. They had everything we could possible need. We will be back.
