Spacious historic downtown Halifax apartment

We can't wait to welcome you to our newly renovated, fully furnished downtown space. A large dining/living area overlooks the historic churchyard in Halifax's Grand Parade. A spacious and quiet back bedroom (with a new Endy mattress) ensures you will be rested for the next day's outings. Air conditioned throughout with 2 temperature zones. There is a large kitchen, as well as a new washer/dryer. With plenty of closet space, this comfortable upstairs apartment is suitable for longer term stays as well as short visits! Note: this is a second story apartment with its own entrance and is only accessible by stairway. There are several parkades, parking lots and metered parking spaces nearby. Street parking is free on weekends downtown and free between 6pm and 8am on weekdays.

This is a great place. Lots of space and great location. Lots of shops and restaurants and sites of interest. We walked to the waterfront and all over the neighborhood. Parking was only a problem one night when we had gone out of town and came back when there was a hockey game within the block.

Comfortable apartment with great proximity to restaurants & waterfront. As others have stated, while the front of the apartment is a bit noisy with traffic outside, we were not bothered by it in the bedroom for sleeping. Good kitchen amenities, and snacks were a nice touch.

Clean space. Beautifully furnished. Loved the sunlight coming into the flat in the morning. Kitchen was well stocked. Comfy bed. Plenty of closet space. Great spanish restaurant on the next street over called the Highway Man. Great coffee shop within 2 mins walk. Citadel and waterfront all within 10 mins walks

Perfect Home Base

Such a great spot to stay for a week and explore Beautiful Halifax on foot and day trips for the rest of the surrounding sights. Well appointed, spotless apartment, generous offerings of coffee, tea, snacks. Beautiful fresh flower arrangement in the living room. Attentive, friendly host. Highly recommend!

Delightful, if we could give location +5 we would. We walked to everything. The apartment is clean and shiny new. It’s on a well-traveled road but the bedroom is quiet.

Good place to stay in downtown Halifax

We were in town to help our daughter get settled for her first year university. The location was very good for us. We like the downtown and it was close to our daughter’s school. The apartment is bright, spacious, clean and well equipped. The hosts were easy to reach if we had questions. The apartment has no parking but it was easy to work around that. My wife and I stayed in the bedroom. Our daughter stayed only one night and slept on a cot in the other room. It worked out well.

Fantastic apartment!

A private, street-level entrance in the heart of historic downtown Halifax leads up to a beautiful and inviting 2nd storey apartment. Plenty of natural light spills into the open-concept dining and living room area. The bedroom is huge and very comfortable and quiet. We so appreciated the thoughtful touches of lovely bathroom amenities, an umbrella, washer/dryer, and the kitchen stocked with the essentials; coffee, tea, milk, cold drinks and even a few snacks :) You can't beat the location with a short walk to the waterfront and plenty of options for eating, shopping and site seeing. Ryan was very responsive by message and available should we have needed anything. It truly was such a welcoming spot and we would definitely book another stay here.

Beautiful layout

We had a great experience & loved the location. The old windows are great for people watching with our toddler & beautiful view of the park. Really clean & great layout, including the coffee corner with snacks. Bed is super comfortable & the double doors are great. Ryan was awesome & had a crib & high chair ready for us. Shower was very nice & the washer/dryer saved us because our luggage got soaked at the airport. The WIFI was dropping out frequently while we were trying to watch the Olympics, so if you’re from the US download movies or you can stream on the tv in the bedroom but our son was sleeping in there at night. We had a lovely time & would definitely stay here ANYTIME I’m in Halifax. Thank you Ryan & Family

Very bright and spacious apartment with very comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, and wonderful living room with a great library of interesting books. Location is perfect for walking all around the city from the wharf to the citadel to restaurants! Highly recommend this place!

This property was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was within walking distance to many restaurants and pubs. The hosts were responsive to any needs. Only drawback was free parking on street was only select hours (6:00pm-8:00am) and tricky to get a spot during the day. There were parkades close by to park if needed for a fee.
