Havelock Hideaway - A relaxing holiday home with a pool!

Welcome to our holiday home; where you can relax, eat, shop and swim.
We are located at the end of a private road and just a two minute walk to the village, which hosts a range of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants/bars. Havelock North has a lot to offer - while visiting you must check out our local wineries, biking/walking trails and sandy beaches.
We are also a short walk away from the local boarding schools, Iona and Woodford House.

The home features a spacious open plan living area with an air conditioning/heat pump unit and wood burner. It has a fully equipped kitchen with oven/stove top, dishwasher and washing machine. Both bedrooms are sunny and homely. The master bedroom features a King size bed and has a ranch slider than opens out to the swimming pool. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed and views of the outdoor area.

Freeview TV and Wifi available.

Strictly no parties/events, smoking/ vaping, pets or children under the age of 13.
Please respect our quiet neighbourhood.
Please respect our home and leave it clean and tidy on your departure.
Please note that we do have a security camera out front of the property.

Fabulous home with everything you could need.

Fabulous home with beautiful private pool and located within easy walkking distance of central Havelock. Communication with our lovely host was great too. We look forward to staying again next time we are visting Havelock.

Great wee spot

This was the perfect spot for the kids and I to base ourselves for a weekend away. Pool looked amazing althpugh we ended up being to busy out and about to get a swim in. Super close to everything you could need.

Centrally located

Perfect. A very pleasant quiet mid-century two bed house with a large outdoor pool. Bathroom upgraded. Very central and literally a two-minute walk to the town centre, restaurants and shops.

Quiet, clean Home!

A great spot nice & quiet very clean. Bring your own pool towels. Close to the Village where all our needs were meet. The fire was lovely as it was cold when we returned back to the house late. Responsive host who was contactable if we needed any help.

Location, location, location - and pool!

Easy to find, simple checkin, great coms with host, clean, tidy, almost everything we needed. The kitchen is a bit sparse of equipment (extra crockery, cutlery, bowls for serving etc) if you plan on cooking at the house, but it's so close to the shops and restaurants of Havelock North (less than 5 mins walk) that we only cooked one night. 4 of us stayed and used both bedrooms, one bed was comfy, the other a lot firmer so there's a choice! and did I mention the pool! Lovely after a very warm day exploring, and pool towels are provided. Separate toilet is great when there's more than one couple staying. A few cobwebs hanging around but overall the cleanliness was good. Very happy with our stay at Havelock hideaway :)

Pleasant stay

Great to stay at a property with a pool in the hawkes bay sun. Fiona was exceptional with communication, and even allowed an early check in. The house and rooms are big, with ample parking and in a great location and neighborhood. A little bit of, hopefully, helpful feedback. The pool was nice but a bit aged (we noticed the soles of our feet were white from the paint everytime we exited, and maybe needed some more chlorine) and the area around the pool/seating was a little dirty. The kitchen is quite sparse and would benefit from a few more basic utensils (like a grater, a chopping board). Tea and coffee provided, which was nice but the coffee was filter coffee and no plunger provided. Overall a pleasant stay, thanks fiona!

Thank you for your feedback. I have taken it onboard and made items more accessible in the kitchen. The pool guy paid a visit today and checked chlorine levels and they were spot-on as always. I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and it was a pleasure hosting you.
