LAKESIDE AT COONGULLA

Our 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday home sits on the banks of Lake Glenmaggie in Coongulla. It is set up like a home away from home with all things needed for a great holiday. Sit back & relax on the back deck while enjoying the view of the lake or have some fun swimming, kayaking, fishing or boating on the water. For land activities there's dirt bike & mountain bike tracks near by as well as 4WD & walking tracks.
There is plenty of room to park cars & trailers in the front yard.
There are kayaks (4 adult & 4 junior) at the house for your use (BYO life jackets & towels for the lake).
The house is located in Ryans Cove with direct access to the lake.
Please check water levels before your stay as the water level does change & the lake level can vary due to it being a lake which provides irrigation & drinking water to local farmers & communities.
All linen provided (bedding & towels).
The house is on a sloped block & does have stairs (please refer to photos)
All shopping amenities, petrol stations, cafes & pubs are located within a 10 minute drive located in Heyfield or in Maffra about a 20minute drive.
If your after a meal The Railway Hotel in Heyfield is about a 10 minute drive or The Farmers Arms Hotel in Newry is about a 15-20 minute drive, Tinamba hotel is about 15 minutes drive. There's also Blue Gables Winery, which is about a 5 minute drive & has some great wood fired pizzas & wine, please check open times for all.
There is a key safe onsite for easy access.
Please note that the garage & downstairs storage room is not included in your stay, they will be locked along with a few cupboards inside.

This house look nice in the photos but was honestly 100 times better in person. So spacious, super clean, fully equipped with so much to do you don’t need to leave the house to have a fun, relaxing time. We stayed over Christmas and the house was even decorated with extra special touches. Will be looking to book again. Thank you Kate.

Our family enjoyed a truly wonderful stay at Kate's home. Communication with Kate was 10/10 and check in was with ease using the lock box. The property was very modern with spacious indoor/outdoor spaces and spotlessly clean. The home contains all amenities and some nice welcoming touches. There is everything needed for the perfect stay. Incredible views of the lake and situated in a quiet bush setting. We enjoyed the walks and paddling on the lake. Kate is by all means and excellent host. Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely above and beyond!The place was perfect for the 7 adults and 1 dog. Our very anxious dog loved the inside/outside area which gave freedom but could still be with us whilst not I the house.Little extras like shampoo condition body wash and then lots of tea coffee and hot chocolate varieties. A very personal touch of a box of Favourites and popcorn complimentary. Could not recommend highly enough. Kate went over and above with communication. Making sure we had everything we needed and a late check out. Wish we had have booked one extra night!

Weekend getaway

Kate was an amazing host—very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed, so we didn’t have to stress about anything. It was super cozy, family and pet friendly, and the view was just perfect. We felt so relaxed the whole time. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Definitely coming back! :)

Absolutely Amazing - Exceptional

Kate was just amazing. Her hospitality and communication made the entire experience easy and welcoming. The property was clean, beautiful and everything you could imagine was provided. Exceptional. The views and location made our stay so relaxing and inviting. To be able to use the outdoor area during winter time was fabulous, especially the fire place. Will definitely be coming back. Home away from Home

The property was spotless and homely. It catered comfortably for 10 of us. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck in the mornings and dinner in the evening. Was fun and easy to use the kayaks too.

The best house ever

Kate is amazing and ensured we had an incredible stay. The house is immaculate and Kate has thought of everything. The deck is so special. It rained all weekend so we spent all of our time there. We will absolutely be back.

Beautiful lake front

Had a wonderful 3 day stay at Lakeside. Enjoyed the outdoor fireplace in the evening and went for daily walks along the lake. The house was well equipped and nice and warm. Thanks to Kate for being so accommodating, really great to communicate with.

This is one of the best equipped, clean and comfortable properties we have ever stayed in. Magnificent views of the lake from the large deck. Glorious to wake up in a cosy bed and hear the birds. Plenty of hot water, plenty of room and plenty of added touches.

Great experience!

We were blown away how clean and organised the place was as it has everything that you need. It feels like home and very relaxing. The view of the lake from the house was incredibly tranquil, perfect for a relaxing getaway. There’s an easy access from the house going to the beautiful lake and we tried swimming and kayaking! Such a great experience! Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind. We’ll definitely come back!

Beautiful Setting

This place has it all. A gorgeous house with a set up that was very well stocked with all you could need- eg tea flavours, coffee pods, toiletries. Kitchen equipment and appliances all excellent. The outdoor deck area- was so much more, and when you added the serene view it was such a relaxing place to spend our time. We stayed with extended family - aged 18-80- and all enjoyed the space. Kate was an excellent host, responding to communication quickly. Check in and out all smooth and overall would thoroughly recommend this place.

Weekend catchup

Was an awesome house for our needs. 8 adults and 2 teenagers. Had an awesome catchup with extended family on the deck. The added touch of basic supplies was unexpected but very thoughtful.
