Family long weekend

Excellent location with beach access from the back garden. Beach is big and flat with shallow channels which is perfect place for toddlers to play and have a great time. The house is fine, Toogoom is quiet and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Lovely get away

The property was lovely in a great location less then a minute walk to the beach from the back door, filled with gardens and wild life at you back door. Seen some kangaroos, adult lace monitors and a few babies. The sounds of the wild life birds and waves in the background was blissful and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay at beaches

Easy access to the beach

Great property for dogs with excellent high solid fencing on three sides, and pool-fencing on the back (did result in some barking at bush turkeys and people walking past on the access track). Very easy to get to the beach, however when the tide is low its not great for swimming and when the tide is high you can't walk along the beach. At times the beach was very busy and other people walking dogs off-leash caused some issues for us. The property itself is a great size for 4 adults, with two large bedrooms and queen/king beds. A nice large kitchen and space to eat inside or outside. Aircon and fans throughout the house, but also a good breeze through the screened windows. The listing doesn't mention that linen is not included, and you only find out after the agent sends all the property details after the non-refundable booking is made. Our linen didn't arrive until 530pm on our first day, so we had no towels/sheets/teatowels until then. The listing should be updated so that people know linen will be an additional charge. When I dealt with the agent to extend our booking and arrange linen, she was very helpful. There was no manual at the house with any rules around cleaning, so we were unsure at checkout what exactly was required (or how any of the appliances worked). Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property.
