There was a lot of bugs in the house each day, not roaches, I think they are called palmetto bugs.

June 2018 Stay

We stayed very comfortably in this awesome retro home with four teens, four adults and two dogs with room to spare! Don’t be fooled by the age of this house it is very well maintained and clean. The location is a little farther out from the shops but it’s also very quiet and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this house to my friends and family. We are all ready to go back!!

Excellent location, a little dated

Very clean inside. Ample linens and well appointed kitchen. There are also bikes and beach chairs there for your use. Furnishings very dated. Outside landscaping very overgrown the week we were there and we could not have used any outside furniture without a significant cleanup effort on our part. “Beach access” walkway right next to property, but the stairs were missing so there was no beach access. No bedroom has a private bath. Two upstairs bedrooms share a bath and two downstairs bedrooms share and there is a 3rd bath in the laundry/utility room.

June 2023 Stay

I'm not gonna lie. I was a little disappointed. I rented the place solely because it was advertised as "1 min" walk to the beach, and it definitely is not , you have to walk a block to the next neighborhood a use their access point. The grass was very high in the front yard, and the backyard was full of poison oak.I'd definitely not recommend it if you're allergic. Other than that the house was great !! plenty of room for our family of 10. There were tons of things here to use as well, such as towels, sand toys, bicycles, etc.Like I said I'd the up keep was a better it has great potential. But when you're from outta state, comparing houses to get exactly what you want and pay the amount of money I paid it's kinda disappointing that I could have gotten a different house with the same amount of room and knew I was gonna have to walk 10 minutes to the beach for half of what was spent.

Plenty of space. Several age related/ wear and tare issues most can not be helped and thats ok because it was a nice home. Loved the beach and high tides were amazing!

Comfortable property for our large family

This is the fourth property we’ve stayed at managed by Jekyll Realty and they really do a great job. Check in is easy. The properties are clean. Communication is great. And if there are any issues they’re quick to take care of them. This particular property was great for our large family of 8, plus 2 dogs. Ample beds for everyone and a large living area kept everyone happy. The beach access directly next to the house was unexpected but a great convenience and made for some nice after dinner walks on the beach, We had some relatives visiting Jekyll at the same time and the living space worked great for shared dinners. We loved this property and have already talked about going ahead and booking the same spot for next year.

Back in Time to Make Family Memories
