About the home
“Seagrove Getaway” is a delightful, single-storey, family home in Cowes, close the Seagrove Park with lots of space and childrens play equipment. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
This single-storey home features a main bedroom at the front of the home with a WIR and en-suite (with shower & toilet). There is a front living room which provides a lovely separate area to spread out. The other three bedrooms each have BIR, and share access to the main bathroom (with bath & shower), a separate toilet and a laundry. The central kitchen overlooks the Family Room, Dining room (with smart 40" TV) and Games room (with smart 40" TV). The Dining Room also provides access out to the covered Alfresco at the rear of the home.
Outdoor Areas
The covered rear Alfresco (with gas BBQ plus table & chairs for 6 people) overlooks the fully enclosed rear yard which is perfect for children. The Garage is not for guest use, but there is space for 1 car in the driveway, and additional parking available on the street.
Across the road is the 2.7 acre Seagrove Park, with a family picnic area, electric BBQs, swings, slides, undercover seating, plenty of open spaces for ball games, walking and bike riding paths.
Please note there are security camera's on the front of the home. They do not view any private areas in the home.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, L'Or Barista pod coffee machine (Nespresso Compatible), kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm gas oven and 5 burner gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home contains ducted heating and ducted evaporative cooling throughout the whole house, as well as 3-4 mobile pedestal fans for use where required.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 4 beds, accommodating up to 8 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Double bed
Bedroom 3: One Double bed
Bedroom 4: One Double bed
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
