Our completely renovated black cottage on the door step of the world famous Hunter Valley wineries.
Our home comes with 4 large bedrooms, two with ensuites. A large modern kitchen with dishwasher that connects to the back deck with a pizza oven and BBQ, an outdoor freestanding bath, carpet in bedrooms. AC in lounge and most bedrooms.
Maggie’s is perfect for small groups of families, friends, hens and bridal gatherings looking to relax and enjoy all the Hunter Valley has to offer.
We are a company that does a lot of travelling so our best means of contact would be either through the app or please email us and my Team will respond as soon as possible!
Less than 10 minutes drive to the world famous Hunter Valley wineries and some of the best restaurants in the country and arguably the world. 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk to Aldi for supplies, there are more shops and cafes in the Main Street too not far away.
Cessnock providors is 1 minute drive for all your fruit, veg and nibbles.
Our beautiful, fully renovated black cottage in the heart of Cessnock has been thoughtfully curated with a designers eye from head to toe.
The moment you walk through the front door, you are greeted with gorgeous wallpaper that flows through to the chefs kitchen, open living room and backyard complete with a mini golf course, fire pit, pizza oven as well as a freestanding outdoor bath.
When you are not exploring the beautiful Hunter Valley wineries, Woolworths and Coles is only a 2 minute drive away, perfect for purchasing all the items you need to cook delicious wood fire pizzas in our pizza oven. There is also a full size BBQ for the family BBQ as well.
There are 2 king-size and 2 double-size bedrooms, two with ensuites and a three bathrooms overall. There is a washing machine, dryer as well as iron for any special occasions.
Most rooms are complete with air-conditioning, making the home perfect for the chilly Winter nights as well as the long Summer days. The third bedroom, next to the living room, does not have air-conditioning; however, if you turn on the AC in the living room, this will also reach the third bedroom.
We cannot wait to host you at Maggie’s the Little Black Cottage, the ultimate Hunter Valley getaway!
HOUSE RULES
* Check-in: After 3:00 pm
* Checkout: 10:00 am
* No smoking
* No parties or events
* No Pets Allowed
*Children/Infants Allowed
ADDITIONAL RULES:
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.
*In compliance with applicable legislation, we are required to enter a Short Term Rental Agreement with Guests upon booking. We are also transitioning from collecting a Security Deposit and will now be using a Pre-Authority form to hold as a form of security for your stay.
*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is EIGHT people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to FOUR people. No more than a maximum of TWELVE people are allowed in the property at any given time.
*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.
*This apartment is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.
*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering or loud noise outside of the premises or inside of the premises. We ask for minimal noise especially after 9 pm.
*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.
*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.
*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.

This property is suitable for babies or children and we provide a travel cot, however, we do not provide the linen
* Checkin details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.
* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.
*Please note, there are security cameras on the outside of the property. Rest assured it does not invade your privacy in any way as it cannot see into the home itself. We just want to make sure that the home is safe as well as any guest that stays there!
