The Space:
Enchanted Sunsets is a three-story home that offers a minimalist yet comfortable living experience. The neutral white interior creates a calm ambiance, allowing you to unwind and disconnect from the outside world. It features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a an outdoor terrace. You’ll love the fully equipped kitchen with counter space overlooking the dining area and living room. Enchanted Sunsets sleeps up to 6 guests in 1 king bed and 2 queen beds. It is fully air conditioned and includes 2 flat screen TVs, hi-speed wi-fi, washer/dryer, beach chairs, and parking for one vehicle.

Nestled in the heart of Dorado, you'll have easy access to local restaurants, shops, and of course, the beautiful Dorado Public Beach. Take leisurely strolls along the coastline or simply bask in the sun. The beach is just a short walk away!

IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS COMMUNITY IS VERY STRICT WITH REGARD TO ITS AMENITIES, NOISE, PARKING, ETC. FINES CAN AND WILL BE LEVIED IF RULES ARE BROKEN. FINES CAN BE AS HIGH AS $200 PER DAY. BY RESERVING THIS PROPERTY YOU ARE AGREEING TO PAY ANY FINE GIVEN TO US FOR THE DATES YOU WERE AT THE PROPERTY.

LIVING AREAS

The Villa has a contemporary open concept layout that connects the living room, dining, kitchen, and terrace. All the living areas are on the first floor of the Villa with abundant windows so you always have views of palm trees and the manicured grounds. There is a flat-screen smart TV in the living room with comfortable seating and full A/C. There is also seating for 5 adults on the lovely terrace. There is a half bathroom on this level.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

The master suite - located on the third floor - has 1 king bed with a fully renovated bathroom, closet, and a smart TV. It also has a furnished private balcony. On the second floor you will find the 2nd bedroom which has 1 tastefully appointed queen bed, closet, and a full bathroom that is shared with the 3rd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom has 1 queen bed and closet space. Both bathrooms include complimentary organic amenities and plush resort-style towels. All the bedrooms have AC.

PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):

We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.

KITCHEN

Enchanted Sunsets has a modern, clean, fully stocked, and comfortable kitchen. The kitchen has a counter space that is ideal for serving meals buffet style. The 4-person dining table is conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen so cooking and dining can become one large social event. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave oven, oven, stovetop, and coffee maker.

GETTING AROUND

Renting a car is a must when staying in Dorado. The property includes one (1) assigned parking spot.

You will need one to move around to nearby restaurants, shops, and beaches as well as to explore the rest of the island. Relying on Uber is not recommended due to lack of availability in the area.

LOCATION

Enchanted Sunsets is located at Villas de Playa II within Dorado del Mar, a beautiful community in Dorado Puerto Rico that is well known for its gorgeous tropical grounds and beach access. Dorado del Mar is home to the Embassy Suites by Hilton. This is a safe and gated community that is great for families and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Enchanted Sunsets is a 45-minute drive from San Juan and the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport.

Besides enjoying the beautiful villa and all amenities on offer, there are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:

Explore the local culinary scene with everything from local Puerto Rican food to excellent Italian and Asian options.

Dorado del Mar has its own casino - The Blue Dolphin Casino! Enchanted Sunsets is ideal for those who want to enjoy the casino nightlife and then retreat to a comfortable space less than a 10 minute drive from the action.

Road trip to the Cerro Gordo or Dorado public beaches. Both of these are long sandy beaches that are well protected from swell and are a 5-minute drive from the villa.

Explore the Camuy Caves – a huge cave system about an hour's drive away that is home to the third-longest underwater river in the world.

Spend a day in Old San Juan, a 35-minute drive away and the oldest city in all of the US.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.

AMENITIES

West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.

West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
Building quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Please keep noise levels down during these hours out of respect to the neighbors.
Any pool pass lost will carry a $100 charge (per pass).
The host will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption in water or electrical service. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances will we refund consumed nights.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 6 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess. Stained towels/linens will be charged.
