We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the home. It was very well furnished and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent both during our stay and through the information provided in the manual at the home.

Overall it was a good place. Interiors were very clean and matched the pictures. Be aware that the house sits very close to a pretty busy road, it is not set back.

The property was very convenient to Watkins Glen about 5 minutes. The area around the house was rural and quiet. You would never know that down town was minutes away.

The owner was exceptionally responsive to an issue I mentioned. The cottage is well appointed, clean and close to the Main Street. We would highly recommend staying there!

Perfect cottage for a getaway!

Had a girls trip here to do some hiking, shopping, and visit some wineries. The house was easy to check in to, clean, and close to everywhere we wanted to go! Would recommend.

Great little cottage

This cottage is exactly as it shows in the images. Although the weather didn't cooperate for our weekend, it still was enjoyable. We went for FingerLakes Trolley wine tour, and after being out all day, it was nice to come back to a cozy cottage.Everything was perfect here. Highly recommend.

Waterfalls & Wineries Week

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage during our waterfalls and wineries week! The location was perfect—close to Watkins Glen State Park, Montour Falls, and plenty of great wineries. The cottage looked exactly like the photos—clean, comfortable, and a great home base for exploring the area. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we could possibly need, even though we didn’t end up cooking. We enjoyed coming back in the evening to the adorable chipmunks chasing each other around the yard. Highly recommend!

Always a pleasure to stay here!

This was our second time staying at this wonderful cottage for multiple days and each time is a blessing and pleasure. Everything is as new and clean as the pictures show it, and it is very comfortable. Since these were work trips for us to the region it was wonderful to have a cozy retreat to energize ourselves after some long days. This region is one of our favorites, work related or not, and we look forward to our next time staying here. Thank you Jim and Kristine, you are wonderful and conscientious hosts!

Property was nice enough but house had an unpleasant smell. Like someone had used an entire canister of Febreeze inside then closed all the doors and windows. Took 2 days to air it out.

Charming Cottage

We were very happy with our stay at James' little cottage. He was most responsive to an issue we had and fixed it right away!The cottage is very cute and very well appointed, making it feel like home for the 3 days we were there.It is convenient to the downtown street, making an easy trip to the Lake Cruise Lines and restaurants.We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking to stay in the Seneca Lake area!

Weekend away

The house was wonderful! Just beautiful! Everything was great until the last day. it's the only Vrbo I've stayed in that the owner did not text me upon check in to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Also, the only one that I could not find a phone number for anywhere, there was a book with all information, but no number to contact. On the day we were checking out, the water was turned off and hour and 15 minutes before check-out, so I wasn't even able to take a shower.

We really enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful weekend at The Cottage. Jim is a wonderful host and very responsive. We brought our meals/cooked in - well furnished and lovely kitchen/clean home. We would highly recommend the property if you are vising Watkins Glen and FLX!
